I opted to purchase these shoes online instead of at my local shoe store. Took over a week to get the shoes. I've now worn the shoes for a week and already the sole has peeled away on the left shoe. Wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary that would prompt the issue.

fit and comfort are good, but soles separate after wearing for 1 month. BAD, BAD, BAD. Bring back the harrington 1 sole. Will never buy another pair.

The shoes hurt my feet so bad. I am diabetic and the previous shoes that were this model fit like a glove and were comfortable right out of the box. They should not have changed these.

I've only had the shoes for a little over a month and the tredd on the shoes are gone. I'm slipping and sliding all over my place of work. I decided try these shoes because I was unable to order the shoes I usually buy from Sketchers. I am highly disappointed with the shoes and would not be purchasing shoes from you guys again.

I've owned six pairs of these shoes. I'm in need of a new pair finding myself searching for old stock because you choose to change the tread pattern. The old style with the yellow strips were perfect. They didn't get gunked up and turn slick. Easy to clean at the end of the night. Bring back the tx tread! #cheflivesmatter

I have been purchasing this model of shoe for many years now. Like others, I have noticed the newer models getting smaller, but I thought I would try again. I ordered 9 wide, as I have always done. The shoes I received were so small, I could not get a shoe tree in them. Unfortunately, I had foolishly worn them outside, so gave them away. Then I ordered a 9.5 wide and these were also very tight. Wasn't I surprised when I held the shoe against the size 9 wide I am currently wearing and saw that they are almost exactly the same, both length and width. The difference is that the heel on the new shoe is smaller, making it much less absorbent of shock when walking. Dr. Scholl's was once a respected name. I cannot imagine how you let this happen.

I have bought and worn these for several years now, because of the comfort and durability. The new soles that are being used however will force me to find another brand and type of shoe. With little wear, the soles are falling apart. Never had this problem with the old style soles. It seems they have taken a good quality shoe, and tried to cut corners and costs in production.

I have bought 3 pairs of Harrington blacks, and unfortunately, the newest pair has a different outsole that is significantly less comfortable. The easiest way to tell if its the old design or the new design, is that the old design had yellow parts on the outsole and the new design is only black. Additionally the new design can be described a a grid of squares. I have attached a photo of the two designs. I do a lot of squatting at my job and end up putting my weight onto the "ball" section of my feet, and the new pair manages to be less comfortable them the worn out old pair that I replaced. What is perhaps most infuriating about this is that the new design and old design are the same product. I have the box from the old pair and it has the same UPC and model number as the box from the new pair. What this means is that when I was looking for a new pair, I had to open every box and check the bottoms because there are still some pairs out there on the shelves that have the good design. Unfortunately all of them were in sizes that were way too big. My only complaint about the old design is that the laces have a tendency to wear out before the soles do.

I am writing this review after giving the shoe 3 separate chances after the quality started to drop as they have been some of the more comfortable work shoes out there. The first pair after 8 years of buying them to go down hill had the sole start to fall off in 2 weeks. The pair I received for an exchange had the metal button fall out for the laces. Unhappy and hoping it was a bat lot of shoes I was getting in my area I gave it 4 months before purchasing the next pair. I am now 30 days in and the soles are again falling off. This issue needs to be corrected if you want to keep people happy. The shoes themselves are very comfortable, like walking on clouds but the need to purchase a new pair every few weeks far outweighs the comfort factor that they offer.

Been loyal for years for quality and durabilty. New soles are poorly glued and fall off in a few weeks. I want my money back or a pair of old design!

I have purchased several Harrington dress black/brown slip and oil resistant shoes and the last ones the sole came apart after about 30 days. I noticed they change the souls. At one time they were black and yellow. Now they are completely black with a different pattern. I would imagine someone else is producing these for you. I won't buy them anymore because they won't hold up. I used to recommend these to coworkers but now I don't anymore.

This is the fourth pair of the shoes that I purchased they're so comfortable I walk around a lot all day and I don't experience any discomfort using the shoes. I will probably never buy a different pair of shoes again
