Cozy as my old slippers - These shoes are very comfortable and roomy. The suede uppers feel as broken in as a soft pair of slippers right from the start.

Great shoe, but my Wife doesn't like their look - What can I say? I love these shoes, but they aren't the most attractive. I liked the closed toe - it keeps pebbles out better than a sandal and offers a little bit of protection. Wish I could wear them all the time. Buy a little bigger.

I have noticed that people who wear Bostons wear them 'til ragged and continue wearing (several years). I have been wearing the Birk 3-strap sandal with great comfort so am looking forward to when I have the Bostons "seated" to my foot. I don't normally wear a narrow shoe but after trying a 46 regular I ordered the narrow and am pleased. The higher arch version which I have seen advertised might suit me better however the arch support is much better than most. I haven't had the Bostons long enough to rate them but previous experience suggests they will be "5 stars" in comfort and durability; how they look is not my reason for buying.

Zappos!! Zappos is the best!! Bottom Line, if you haven't shopped here, you should! I bought my Birkenstock's, and they didn't have my size (I usually wear a 13), but I know Birkenstock's fit a little bigger, so I went with the 12.5... they ended up sending that out express shipped, and I got them the NEXT DAY, sooner than promised. Thank you Zappos, I will plug you guys until the day I die:)

BOSTONS - Yeah. The band boston rocks! But the shoe does too... Birkenstocks are super comfortable and are one of the few shoes that do not hurt my feet. I think of these as my "Recovery" shoes after a hard day's work on running shoes. I just slip into these "bad boys" and its all bliss from there. so ya! My girlfriend thinks I look super hot in them too. thats a definite ++++!!

comfort and style! These shoes are amazingly comfortable and at the same time they are stylish. Almost everyone at my highschool wears them. They take a little getting used to, and hurt my feet the first day I wore them, but now I love them! They even mold to my feet perfectly!

ugly but comfy - There's no way around it, you buy these Birks for what they are and how they feel. They are not dainty. With an average width woman's foot, I found I needed the Narrow width. Regular felt like clown shoes. I originally ordered 39R, then got 39N to compare. In the regular, the length felt fine, but in the narrower, they felt shorter, maybe it was the way the shoe curves, but my smaller toes were at the end. Finally got the 40N and was happy. Took 3 purchases and 2 returns, but they should last for a long time. They broke in really quickly, but I'm already used to Birks, so that helped. Great shoe for comfort!

Great Shoe - Fantastic! I bought them in Taupe and really loved it. They are so comfortable. I even bought another pair in the Mocha because I enjoyed them so much. They are a bit big. I normally wear a size 11-11.5 shoe so I bought the 44. I probably could have gone with the 43, but the 44 isn't that big. If you have a foot that is even slightly narrower than normal buy the narrow width, the normal width is very wide.

Boston Birkenstock - I love my clogs. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They do run wide and somewhat larger than normal sizes.

These are the typical Birkenstock's, comfortable and easy to wear. But the best is Zappos selection service I knew if they didn't fit I could return them for another sizes no charge! I tell everyone about Zappos!

Have loved these for many years - These shoes are great for comfort with a capital C. If you're not used to their sizing, order 1/2 size down from your usual, or plan on wearing them with fairly heavy socks all the time. They wear well, too - I'm still using the first pair I ever bought, in brown. They do look a little dorky, but once you're over 50, who cares?

Birkenstocks that rock - These shoes are the best! They are very comfortable and you can where them with all casual clothes. A must for your wardrobe!!!!

Fits like a glove - Birks fit me great, but then again I need a wide toe, so they may not work for narrow-footed people. If you get bostons and don't think they fit, my best advice is try all of the notches on the strap before giving up. That can make a lot of difference.

Very impressed - I would just like to say that I love zappos. I ordered my Birkenstocks last Friday (2/11) around 8pm and I received them today (2/14). I'm very pleased with the speedy delivery. Also the shoes are fantastic. This is my first pair of birkenstocks and I'm thrilled. I've always wanted a pair but have had difficulty finding shoe stores near me with such a range of styles/sizes/colors. Before ordering my black suede bostons, I read all the reviews in order to help me decide what size and width to get. I ordered a half size smaller and the narrow length. Although my feet aren't particularly narrow I'd recommend that women with avg feet get narrow. the shoes tend to run wider since they're unisex. The shoes fit perfectly, and I have absolutely no complaints!

Birkenstock's save mother's feet! Running after a 14 month old had put a toll on this once barefooted mom. My feet felt sore and tired by the end of my day. Recalling my favorite shoes are my beloved Birkenstock sandles I decided to purchase the Birkenstock Boston Suede to wear in the house. After just a few days, my feet were happy after my son had gone to bed for the night!

My Birthday Birkenstock - I received my Birkenstock Boston - Suede shoes as a gift, purchased from your website. I received them on January 13, and have worn them quite a bit since then. Mine are black, and they always look really nice. It has even been raining quite a bit lately, and try as I might to avoid puddles, I have managed to get water/debris on them several times. They wipe right off and look just like they did when I first put them on. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, so I had some surprise at the initial feel of the inside of the soles, but I am enjoying the fact that it supports my feet in all the important places. I've been told that it forms to "fit" my feet, and I can certainly feel that beginning to happen. All in all, I'm very happy with this particular pair of shoes! In further review, and telling you things you didn't request, I wanted to let you know how pleased I've been when I have shopped at your site. These shoes were purchased through you because I have raved about the customer service I have received from your company. You treat a customer like their needs are ACTUALLY IMPORTANT to you. Perfect - I love this shoe: simple, comfortable, convenient. The inside is molded to fit your foot, there's nothing to lace up, just slide them on and go; they look great anywhere you go, on the trail or on the town.
