Customer Reviews New Balance 608v5 Slip Resistant

I need shoes with a super wide toe box. I called NewBalance and they told me that the MX608v5 had an extra wide toe box, so I ordered them in 13 4E. These were some of the most narrow sneakers I've tried on in years. I don't know if it's NewBalance's new standard, but if it is, I need to find a new brand for wide shoes. Any suggestions?

Why the hell is this shoe falling apart? It is bad enough zappos large size sneakers selection has tanked and gotten to next to nothing unless you wanna wear kid shoe brands like DC, this is ridiculous. I'm tired of this and wish zappos would take some responsibility and do something about it w shoe manufacturers. I call n call and call or email and it's the customary BS answers. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ALREADY CAUSE ITS REALLY PREJUDICIAL TO GUYS W LARGE FEET.

The shoe was too tight.

The shoes fit and feel good on the feet. Unfortunately they are platform shoes. I feel two inches taller wearing them. Another issue is that my toes can make contact with the ground in these shoes.

The shoes were great. Unfortunately the left shoe was too tight and caused discomfort. I don't think it ws the shoes - I think my left foot is a bit wider.

worst shoe i've ordered to date on Zappos. embarrassing for New Balance. Would not order again. will be off NB for a while now.

The blind monkey that Zappos hired to fulfill my order sent me women's golf shoes. Not only did I order men's shoes 8(!) sizes larger than what showed up, but I ordered Grey Suede, but received White & Neon Green. Swing and a miss.

I bought the New Balance trainers because I need a high arch support with a wide toe box. I tried them on and they were so painful that I removed them within one hour.

This show was the shoddiest piece of manufacturing I have ever experienced. The tread began to separate from the soles about a week after purchase; I glued one portion down only to have another portion separate, and then another. Terrible workmanship.

bought a NB waterproof sneaker 7.5 wide which fit very well. This is the same stated size but much larger.

I returned the shoes.

Loved the shoes except they were a lot bigger than a 15

The bag enclosed a shoe box tattered. I looked on the shoe for the words "Rollbar" I told the customer rep at least 3 times I wanted a shoe with a rollbar. He said he would make sure it was there. The shipped shoe had no rollbar in the shoe. It was futile to try the shoes on, when my order was not as expected. I await my new shoe in the return process. signed: Disappointed customer

Too big!

The exterior synthetic material on these was extremely uncomfortable/thick. I ordered two sizes, received one and had to immediately return it. When the other one arrives that will go back too, sorry but these were very uncomfortable

You sent me tge wrong model & size. Instead of a 608 10 4E you ssnt a 623 10 2E

Uncomfortable compared to older standards

This particular pair did not fit and, unfortunately need to be returned for an 11.5 wide if in stock. If not available then I will return for a refund

The tongue was putting a lot of pressure on my upper foot/ankle area.
