Can't beat the style - You can't beat the style of this Converse shoe! It is only semi-comfortable, of course, but it brings back memories of grade school basketball games! A classic!

My cons - They are great. The only problem with converse is that they will not keep your feet warm in cold weather.

Pink Converse all star core HI - Overall, I think they are great shoes. The only problem is the end of it gettin dirty. I think they would be good shoes if you wash them once and a while.

Nice shoes... These shoes are great! Very stylish and lots of fun...Just one down thing, they wear very fast, the sole won't last as it used to, but still, they're a good pair to go out and play.

Hi tops - Looks great. a little narrow-and I have narrow feet. As of days of old, they have no cushioning, unfortunately. BUT THEY LOOK GREAT...I have tried a few different sizes to get to my correct converse size, which appears to be 1/2 size smaller than my actual size. ZAPPOS is fantastic all 'round.

A classic - I purchased these as a replacement. The ones previous were made in the USA, and the new ones made in China seem to run larger. I had to exchange them for a half size smaller but am starting to wonder if I should have gone down another half size. They are a bit uncomfortable on the sides, but should get better as they are broken in.

Brutal truth - The shoe is a classic, but it has its downside. It can get bothersome when driving because of the rubber cap on top of the shoe. It's just something you gotta put up with if you like the shoe. Now a review for the drummers. It's the closest thing to playing barefooted. You get the same thing as the driving problem because your feet are bend at a certain degree, so the rubber will kind of dig in with some double bass pedal action, but it's a great shoe. Buy the shoe a half size smaller than your true size.

Very flexible shoe and good for freestyle skateboarding. This shoe is a pain to put on because of the upper laces. The sole doesn't last long and the canvas is not too comfy, but the strong point is its flexibility. Price is a bit steep for a potato sack shoe.

Converse all black monochrome - These kicks are hot. They look good in the hood. Rock these in the summer with jeans and maybe shorts. They aiight and the price is nice. Recognize that the sizing fits about 1 size larger than your size. For example, my general shoe size is 9.5 but had to exchange them for a 8.5.

Converse All Star High tops - I love the shoe, but it doesn't seem to quite hold up to wear like they did several years ago, which is why it does not get 5's across the board. On a separate note, I love dealing with Zappos and I don't think I'll buy a pair of shoes anywhere else.

I just got these shoes and they have good ankle support for volleyball and basketball. I have a narrow foot so it's usually hard to find shoes that my heel won't come out of, but high tops stay on. All my friends and cousins complimented them, and my parents and aunts and uncles always say, "I used to have some of these and I loved them!"

Great Powerlifting Show - Chuck's are considered some of the best lifting shoes on the market, very durable and the flat sole keeps you off of your toes. This is my first time using them and they are as advertised, comfortable, practical and durable.

Love them! This is the only shoe my boyfriend will wear when not at work. This is his third pair since we started dating! These were bought to wear with his tuxedo at my nieces wedding, everyone loved it!

Love Chuck Taylors! This was my first time ordering from Zappos and definitely not the last! I was very pleased with the free and fast shipping and loved the very hard to find shoes in my color! Thanks Zappos.com for having exactly what I was looking for at such a great price!

Still Wearing a Classic - The first pair of Chuck Taylors I wore were an old pair given to me by a friend who bought a new pair when he made the high school basketball team. I immediately noticed how much more comfortable they were than the ones I had always worn (I grew up on PF Flyers because you could run faster and jump higher than Keds). As time passed, my friends and I bought Adidas, Puma, Reebok, and lastly, New Balance at higher and higher prices. When the price of athletic shoes became higher than my leather dress shoes, I decided enough is enough and went back to Converse All-Stars. It's a washable canvas shoe at a price I can live with. I buy several pair at a time so I have one when I need one.

A Famous "Used-to-be" Converse All-Stars used to be the official shoe of the NBA for many years. If you remember watching Oscar Robertson, Bob Cousy, Elgin Baylor or Jerry West, then you remember they all wore "Chuck Taylors" or "Chucks." Every single NBA player wore them! They used to be the top-of-the-line athletic shoe and all cool teenage guys in the 50s and 60s had to have a pair. There simply was no substitute. Those were the days before leather athletic shoes, however. Because of the canvas uppers, Chucks are pretty light weight. They are pretty cool in hot weather but do not offer much protection from cold weather. Chucks are very comfortable and pretty sturdy and long-wearing, but I fail to see why they should cost as much as a good pair of leather athletic shoes. I guess it's the retro cool. I wore them as a kid and simply cannot give them up. As soon as my black hi-tops wear out, I'm shopping for a new pair.

Chucks - I love the look and comfort of Chucks and get lots of compliments on them. I see them everywhere, too. They're really comfortable and well-fitting, but I feel like the heel and the joining of canvas top and rubber bottom wore out really quickly and were a little tough to keep clean.

Cool - These shoes are cool and comfortable, but if you wear them in the rain, they can get wet very easily. Other than that, they're great.

Breezy - I love my Converse sneakers, however, I come from Scotland and they aren't really suited for the weather. There's usually a breeze, which makes them a chilly item of footwear and they always get soaking wet. However, I love them all the same. :)
