Great shoes. The squeak is unfortunate but fixable. Just add some powder like Gold bond or whatever wear them and add more if they continue. The reason they are so comfortable is also the reason they squeak. Currently wearing my 5th pair (3 pairs were squeakers) and will buy nothing else.

Shoe sole seems to be uneven - very uncomfortable. It's too bad because the rest of shoe is okay. I will not be buying this shoe again.

Zappos has the best selection and their shipping was very very fast. I reccommend that everyone should buy from them. It makes buying a breeze.

Like many others before me wrote about the annoying sound they make... If you can get past that they fit well, this is my 3rd pair this year as I walk between 3.5 to 7 miles on concrete a day. I found Zappos to be cheaper then most places this time, so they received by business and shipped quick.

I always buy these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes. I've had them squeak, but you can fix this if you put foot powder in your shoe. I researched online and found the squeaking is caused from moisture from your feet getting in to the soles of the shoe. The foot powder really works. Love these comfy shoes.

I like the comfort of this shoe, however it is heavier than I expected. It's about 11 oz, and after about an hour of walking or running, that extra weight is very noticeable. I prefer a shoe in the 7 oz range. But it is a very cushioned, and comfortable shoe.

I NEVER thought I would be able to wear Nike (I have a wide toe box and only New Balance ever really fit right). These are AWESOME, fit as good if not better than the NB (same size/width) and are less expensive! (Probably because they're made by children in sweat shops in China, but I digress...) These fit GREAT!

I have not bought Nikes in years. I seemed to remember they run small. They do. Significantly. As the shoes do not fit I will rate as 3s below. Hopefully the next pair will fit.

I have terrible feet and need to walk for health reasons so have had a tough time finding shoes that will let me take my daily walk. These Nikes have the right amount of support and cushioning to walk 3 miles every morning and still get through the rest of the day without pain.

This is a great and comfortable fitting shoe. I'm on my feet and walking all day at work. I buy several pairs at a time to make sure I always have an extra pair when I need them. Zappos is the best place to get these terrific shoes.

I love this shoe, they are somewhat noisy. I am a painter in a collision/restoration shop and shoes only last a year. The "Air" Monarch is the best comfort shoe for being on concrete and steel grating all day. Great for the feet and low back. I highly recommend this shoe. I am on my 3rd pair and you can't beat this price to your door.

Great shoe - I got more than I expected, wonderful feel, can wear all day, will purchase again. This is from someone who walks with forearm crutches all the time.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I was skeptical ordering shoes online but these shoes have been great. If I had one complaint (and it's a big one) it would be this...these are the loudest, squeakiest, crunchiest sounding shoes I have ever worn. I am in desperate need of shoes and have contemplated ordering another pair but they are annoying as hell. I couldn't sneak up on a corpse in these things. When I come walking people stop and look. No!

First shoes I've found that fit since New Balance screwed up the 608's. Really comfortable and can walk miles in them. Thanks.

Very comfortable and well built. Under priced and no squeak as others have said. I use these as a work shoe.

Ouch. They don't give and feel like hard plastic. They pinch the outsides of my little toes metatarsals. My big toes are right at the front. It seems like a half size bigger might work, but I don't think they'd breathe enough and be hot. And would remain stiff for a good long time.

These shoes are a great especially for a wide foot fit. But they are the squeakiest noisiest pair of shoes I have ever owned. The squeaking occurs every time you take a step but it doesn't start right away. It starts after about a year of regular everyday wear; shoes at that point are far from worn out, look ok and remain comfortable. But the noise makes them almost unusable.

Great tennis shoes! Easy to play tennis and workout. No complaint so far. A safe and good buy! Please be aware to buy it wide. Provide a great fit!

It is hard for me to find good shoes in my size. I went on Zappos and not only found the shoes that I have been looking for but my size and at a good price. I am so extremely happy with my purchase. Customer service was very helpful they were easy to talk to and because of a mishap (not made by Zappos) I am still a satisfied customer. My future shoe shopping will not only save me gas and time but I know that I will have a better selection and good prices. I give the company 100 thumbs up!

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever worn, and I have been wearing this brand of shoes for seven years now. The first couple of pairs were great, and so when they came back on the market, I snatched up another four pairs. I regret this immensely, as the quality of the Air Monarchs dropped considerably when they went from Air Monarch IIIs to Air Monarch IVs. They are still comfortable, but within a month, each pair would produce a loud, terrible squeaking noise with each step. I took meticulous care with one pair not to ever step in puddles or wear them while it was raining, so it is not that they have gotten wet, it is just what the shoes do, without fail. I am a very large man (6'4", 300 pounds), so that might have something to do with the squeaking - I am not sure, and I doubt it - but it is unbearable. People can hear me coming from over a hundred feet away, and remark on it quite often. Do not buy these shoes if you like walking quietly.

I bought these for my son for work, and while he likes them they drive me crazy because they squeak. Loudly!

Excellent walking/working shoes. I am delivery driver so I demand more from my shoes than most people. They are comfortable, have adequate padding and grip well on all surfaces including wet concrete and pavement, which is very important for me. Highly recommend! I will be buying a second pair to have in my stocks when I need them.

I have arthritis in both my feet...along with my orthotics and these extra wide shoes, much of the pain is gone.

Having worn this exact shoe model for several years, I know how comfortable it is. Zappos had the best price, easy to use web site and prompt delivery. What more can you ask for?

These are terrible! These are the worst shoes that have I ever owned. They ran way narrow - my feet are killing me after half a day. And the noise - are you kidding me?! Nike and anyone selling these shoes should be embarrassed. I do not even plan to keep them around for yard work.
