I have had two pair before this order. I wear them while working. As I am on my feet for the day doing painting and wallpapering I need comfortable footwear. These shoes do the job. I normally only get 6 months from a pair of shoes then my legs start to ache at night. The current pair is about 8 months old now. No aches yet. Starting to look their age but still holding up. I was not able to find them at my previous store but here on Zappos they had them and in my size. Price is very good too.

This is my 3rd pair of Nike Monarch shoes, 2nd from Zappos, these have been a great shoe, comfortable and durable. I have wide feet and it's hard to find a good quality and comfortable wide shoe but these Monarchs have been great all around shoes. In addition to having wide feet, my feet swell horribly, so comfort is key, the first pair I had were a 1/2 size smaller and after some time the inside back where your heel slides in, used to bunch up inside and could not be smoothed out or fixed and bind in my back ankle very uncomfortable, however going up a 1/2 size did the trick, I currently own 2 pairs different colors and can't say enough what a great shoe it is, additionally, this shoe was recommended by my podiatrist because of the wide width, comfortable fit and the good support!

Fits perfectly. I have wider feet and Nike is usually too narrow but these shoes are great!

Amazing how loud they are every step I take I am reminding I am wearing them plan to exchange them for another brand!

I have been wearing Nike Air Monarch's since 2000. In the past they were the most comfortable & cushioned sneaker I have ever worn. My go to sneaker for workouts, shooting hoops, running, & walking. I recommended them to whoever would listen. Unfortunately in the last 7-10 yrs or so sneakers just aren't being made the same. Most are made in two parts with a seperate sole with the stupid, unecessary toe guard that's glued onto the upper portion of the shoe & they inevitably fall apart much sooner than they should. I had a pair of Air Monarchs in 2011 that last 5 yrs before they needed replacing. I can't say that about the latest version. Bought two pair thinking I was getting the same quality of my past Air Monarchs but ater two months (with alternating the pairs) I'm already seeing stiching around the two that's fraying as well as the shoe losing it's form in a couple of spots. Still love the design but the quality & comfort of the past are no longer there.

These are a great addition to my collection. I have wide flat feet & it's hard to find extra wide shoes but these are perfect. They are very comfortable and I have gotten a lot of compliments from people. I recommend these shoes to anyone who have a hard time finding wider styled shoes.

I had recently purchased 2 other brand of tennis shoes. Both made my feet sore. This new pair feels better than any I have purchased in a long time. I was born with clubbed feet. Though I have been cured. I still have a tough time finding a comfortable pair of shoes since I wear size 7, 4E. I will definitely buy another pair of this style and brand if it is available.

These are the only shoes my husband wears. They are super comfy and fit very well. They last longer than any of his other shoes and are a very good price.

This shoe is true to size, fits well and is my husbands favorite! My husband has an extra wide foot and I know Zappos Will Always Have his Size at the Right Price!

Fits great, nice style. After wearing for some months, now they squeak every time I am walking. Don't know wh, but beware...

They are good. But could use some more support

The style is nice looking but these shoes are not for long walks. I use them for the gym. They look great and do feel just fine. I do recommend them.

My favorite shoe.

This is my third pair in this style, second pair in black. My first pair are only three years old and still in good condition for anything, but will be replaced with the new ones for work/school. Second pair in white about 18 months old also have no problems and used for walking. Personally I need additional foot support for both ball of foot and heel. With these shoes I can add whatever I want and there is still room for comfort.

I have had the Nike Air Monarch shoe a couple of times before and like that there is plenty of room for my toes. I have large feet (14) and these are one of the few models that actually feel comfortable from the start. They take a little breaking in, but in a couple of weeks they feel like old friends.

Air Monarchs are perfect for vigorous walking. I love the comfort, and they stand up to lots of hard use.

My husband has been wearing these shoes now for about 10 years and has probably gone through about 5 pairs of them in that time. They're a nice plain black, none of these ridiculously bright colours that are totally unsuitable in many situations. They're well made most of the time, although he did get one dud pair which split at the edge of the sole however Nike did offer a credit and they were replaced. As others here have said, sometimes the shoes can be very noisy, depending on the surface you're walking on (polished linoleum is worst). Not all pairs he's had have been as noisy so I don't know if the sole pattern has been changed over the years. He says he can't sneak out of work early on a Friday afternoon because his boss hears him squeaking past! The shoe is supportive and comfortable right out of the box, no need to wear them in and the price is a good value.

As a delivery person, I am on my feet for hours each day and have been purchasing the Nike Air Monarch as my work-shoe for about 10 years. They don't require the typical break-in period of other shoes and have always been comfortable from the first day of use (no blisters, sore feet, etc.). The quality has been good and consistent (with no noticeable variation size, width, overall quality). Some of these do seem to develop a slight squeak (as noted in other reviews) but it's not a concern for me and doesn't seem to affect the performance of the shoe. Zappos offers these at competitive pricing and has provided trouble-free service when purchased through their website.

These shoes are very comfortable! I typically have trouble finding shoes wide enough and these are very true to a 4E.

I have been buying air monarch for years and have been satisfied. The last pair of black shoes have really disappointed me. I bought them in June of 16 and the completely broke down on the front of the shoe, big creases that rubbed on the big toe & formed a lump at the ball of the foot. I believe they have really cheapened this shoe from China. I will never buy another pair. I wish I could send you a picture of this shoe after wearing them...

Maybe the best shoe for the cost! This shoe is a great all around trainer with good styling.

Its very difficult to find shoes in stores that will fit my sons size 15 foot. My go to is Zappos.com they always have a large selection to choose from and a variety of style,and prices.

I've been buying these Nike's foe many years now. They are a decent shoe & hold up well in the wash. The sizing runs a bit small. I wear a 10 in most every other shoe, and need to order a 10.5 in these. People complain about the "noise" from the Monarch's. I've had a couple of them do this. Here's the fix if yours start to make noise. Pull the insole out of them and sprinkle a small amount baby or foot powder inside and replace the insole...noise gone!!!
