It was a perfect fit and real comfortable

My husband has been wearing Nike air monarch IV for years. He likes them and refuses to wear anything else. He used to customize them by removing the heel tab and other identifying information or what he described as useless features. He stopped doing the custom job once he retired!! Please don’t ever stop selling these. He loves the rapid delivery process offered by Zappos. Thank you!

Only athletic shoe I will ever buy!

Good fit, Excellent wearability. This is my fifth pair over the years

I bought these shoes in black for my 12 yo grandson with very wide feet. The fit was great but the look was not. The chunkiness of the sole made them look like orthopedic shoes. Not cool for a 12 year old kid so they were returned.

I bought these for my 12 y old grandson with very wide feet. The fit was great and the toe box area was nice and roomy. I should have shown them to him first because “everybody wears black shoes, Nana”. Returned them for a different pair.

This must be my sixth pair. I don't think you can beat the value. I use them for racquetball and play at least six hours per week. I get a year out of each pair before I notice a slight loss of support and firm fit. When that happens my feet start to slide a bit forward in the toe box and my toes stuffer. That pair then gets retired to casual wear and the pair before that gets donated to the local charity (still in good shape).

I’ve purchased four pairs if these shoes for my husband. He has very hard-to-fit feet and is very hard on shoes. For whatever reason(s), these work great for him. And he likes them.

These shoes are super comfortable and stylish. Hard to find both for older men. I won't wear them without a insert. I can stand all day in them with no problem. If they start squeaking put foot powder in them and that should do the trick.

Overall they're great

These are my go-to shoes for walking, and only Zappos seems to have the grey color. I buy these every 6 months, they are so dependable. Thanks, Zappos!

I have purchased at least two pair of these sneakers every year for the last 10 years. They are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. I have tried others but have always come back to these. Fit is great, comfort is wonderful and the style is no too bold. I would highly recommend these sneakers.

Everything was perfect

Extremely comfortable walking shoe; all black version is versatile for everyday wear, work and play; very satisfactory for trail hiking. Wear like iron: after two years of almost daily use the sole is nearly worn out and I had to reglue the toe guard and sole to the upper, but the leather is still in excellent condition. First two pairs lasted two years each, despite being heavily used to referee indoor and outdoor soccer (which Air Monarchs really weren’t designed for). Third pair has lasted 3+ years since I bought dedicated soccer shoes. None of them ever “squeaked” as has been commonly reported. Great value at the price!

This shoes exactly good, but Zappos send me the 4E Extra Wide model , no D Medium :( so it fits bad because of width

Yes they do squeak. Easy cure - carefully peel out the glued bed. Use glue-gone, or not, to remove left behind stickum. Sprinkle liberal quantity of talcum powder over the entire bed. Slip in your new orthotics (custom or off the shelf). Noise nearly gone. After a mile or two jog. Repeat the talcum over any bare spots inside. Long lasting shoes, comfortable and very affordable.

A little on the heavy side, but makes up for it with the support I was looking for. I spent a long time looking for the right shoes to play tennis in, and think this is it. And at the pretty reasonable price to boot!. I've had them for a few months now and broken them in fully. I like them enough that I just ordered a second pair as insurance in case they become hard to find.

Been wearing this shoe since changeover of IIs to IIIs. Had to jump up one size to 15 4E from normal size 14. Best in Comfort & you can use certain orthotics.

just what I was looking for. solid shoe with added style

This is for red, black, and white color. Although they do get noisy after you've been wearing them awhile they are nicely comfortable. I work at a job that I'm on my feet most of the day and these have enough cushioning that my feet never get to hurting on the bottom, as other shoes I've tried didn't do that so well, so I keep buying this kind time after time. They last at most about two years and it'd be nice if they lasted longer is all.

I bought these for my husband. It was great to find such a great looking, sporty shoe in 4E width! The leather upper will be much warmer than mesh for walking outside in the winter. I'm going to buy him a second pair for refereeing. (Yes, they were squeaky right out of the box, but I'll try the talcum powder idea if it doesn't go away. No big deal for such a comfortable shoe.)

This shoe has a lot of upper — it's a bigger, heavier shoe, and the uppers are significantly more built than comparable wide shoes.

After suffering from Plantar Fasciaitis for months, I tried these out since they are literally the ONLY Nike’s with arch support in my size (size 12, 4E wide) that I can wear for basketball. I was wearing Nike running shoes with insoles and they destroyed my feet but after wearing the Air Monarchs with no insoles for a few weeks the pain is almost completely gone!! They are well made and SUPER comfortable, I can feel the support and cushion protecting my foot. I’m now able to run again without suffering from agonizing pain every night when I get home, these shoes have been the cure!!

Really like these Nikes. I wear them at least 6 days a week for all kind of activities. Daily walk 3 to 4 miles. Get a new pair every 3 or 4 months. I find them well worth the price.
