Love this Shell. Amazingly waterproof. Spend winters in the NW mnts. where the weather changes from rain to snow within minutes. Have never gotten my mid layer wet or had the swap out my Beta AR after 4-8 hours of being rained on. Highly recommend!

I bought this two months ago and it has been great for skiing and now in the shoulder season for hiking in spring like (rainy) conditions. I love the length of the jacket as it keeps me warm and dry.

Practical and versatile coat and seems robust. Has enough features to be worn in extreme weather but is smart enough to be worn casually too. 4/5 as the hood doesn't pack away, but other than that a fantastic hard wearing jacket.

I bought this for a heavier shell (winter) to replace a parka. Boy did it exceed my expectations! The fit is almost perfect, it's loose without a mid layer, but that's the design. It's wonderfully light weight and very breathable. This has quickly become my favourite piece! I've used it for winter hikes, and cross country skiing in Ottawa and not once was I cold!

I've used this jacket for five years now and everytime it gets the job done. It's great all year and has never waivered. Compactable, sturdy, great look. Those are just a few of the reasons why I'll keep this jacket as long as I possibly can!

Great jacket...really keeps you dry. The underarm zipper is an excellent feature to have. The velcro around the wrist is very strong. On the down side, I wish it had a packable bag to put it in so you can just hook it onto a backpack

I bought this to replace my Beta LT I had and so glad I did. It's a perfect fit and keeps me dry. I wear this everywhere. The hood is big but not too big and has a cinch if needed. I don't carry a purse/bag if I'm out for a walk, and wished there was an extra chest pocket for my credit card or cash so I can keep my hands in my pocket without worrying that they'd fall out when I take my hands out.

1st Arcteryx jacket. Very durable. Big fan of the side pockets which most of my shell jackets have. Not a big fan of the hood. I like the fast the goretex logo is the same color of the jacket.

I've had this for over a year now and it's been great, I've used it around the city, for hiking, backpacking, and skiing. It's kept me dry the whole time! And the pit zips are great for venting. My main issue is that I personally don't like the drophood, the collar doesn't nest well with other hoods and I prefer the bigger stormhood that covers more of your face. It's also really big - this means it can look a bit weird if you're using it with just a tshirt underneath. So unless you know you're layering a lot you should size down. Overall an excellent do it all jacket!

I've owned this for over a year and do not regret my purpose. I am 6'3" and about 190 lbs and I love the cut of this jacket- not baggy at all unlike so many other rain jackets. The breathability is great with the vents open and it repels water like nothing I have ever owned.

I purchased this hard shell approximately a month ago along with an Atom AR and was out in 45 mile an hour winds at 10 and was toasty warm as if I was sitting by my woodstove.

Super comfortable and lightweight, yet durable. I've taken this jacket backpacking through snow/rain, snowboarding, and even fishing. Never once has the jacket let me down. Been pushed through rough brambles and branches and not even a single sign of a tear. Looks as good as the day I bought it. The only "downside" I have about the beta ar is that it's a bit noisy.

This really is an outstanding all around jacket. I have worn it layered to ski comfortably in -25 degree conditions in the mountains, but also wear it with jeans walking around the city when it's above zero. I will always have an arcteryx beta AR jacket in my closet.

So glad that I chose to invest in this jacket. I absolutely love it! It really helps me to have the confidence to be outside when the weather changes and know that I will be completely dry. Not only does it do the job, but I also love the look and feel of it

I bought this jacket two months ago, been bone dry ever since. Out hiking in thrashing rain and wind, and it's not leaked any water once, and I keeps the wind at bay. All whilst remaining breathable, and extremely light weight. Well, well worth the price.

I've had this jacket for 2 months now and I'm extremely satisfied. The jacket is lightweight and packable but still has all the features I could possibly need.

Unlike a lot of jackets that claim to be waterproof, I have had zero breaches so far. Longest test has been a 6 hour hike on the moors where it rained constantly. Not the roughest test but you can only beat what's put in front of you.

This jacket has met the challenge for everything I have had for it so far, all while giving an exceptional fit, something I often struggle with for shells. I am 6'2" and 190lbs, not abnormally long arms but long enough to not fit many jackets. From single track riding, xc skiing, backpacking my little one around, and walking the dog, it has held up beautifully and performed as expected. The biggest star for me is the stand up collar, it makes a massive difference to close out the elements and seal in the heat when the wind chill is stiff. No wonder it is a fixture to the stellar Arc'teryx lineup

Great fitting shell that doesn't ride up with excessive arm movement. Good selection of colours and lightweight, ideal for those wet walks and likes in the British countryside.

I picked this up about 2 months ago, honestly worth every cent. First day out wearing it I was caught in a downpour. Was I wet? Nope, not at all. The material is thick and makes a little noise, maybe as it breaks in it will be quieter so sneaking up on Sasquatch will have to wait. It fits about spot on, pockets are in a usable spot. This is the jacket you need, it's the do it all, see it all jacket to travel the world with. Just don't try to be a Sasquatch catcher........... at first.

I bought this jacket a few months ago and it has turned out to be the best investment I could make. Went for a good long steep hike and the jacket held up to all of it's accolades. Kept me dry, pit zips allowed me to not get too sweaty and the well thought out hood kept me completely dry. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner as I went snow shoeing earlier in the year and got drenched with a competitors jacket. Fabulous jacket, the Beta AR and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking full protection from the elements.
