They are extremely comfortable, but due to the composite toe, they are basically a half size too small. With the extra thickness of the composite toe, it pinches a bit on the outside. my recommendation is that if you buy these, and you should, get them a half size bigger.

I was so excited to get these shoes for work and they turned out to be the most uncomfortable shoes ever!! I’m so upset!! They we nice but not nice to wear all day for work!

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
As people have mentioned by a half a size larger so they fit right. These shoes fit great right out of the box, nice arch support. Toe box has plenty of room. I bought multiple pair of thorogood shoes over the years, they all wear fantastic and fit great. I don't think you could go wrong with these shoes. I work at Amazon and on my feet 11 hours a day, and these shoes are very comfortable.

The shoes are very stylish. They even seem to follow the recent style of not needing to untie the shoes. The back is made low which offers little ankle support, and allows the heal to lift out of the shoe with each step. The arch is showing, but it is so soft that it doesn't feel like anything is there. It also seems to be a bit narrow. I hope that it will break-in better than it feels now.
