I ordered a M, but the toe straps were too tight near the bottom for me to walk comfortably. They could probably be stretched though, and the heel provides good support without looking too clunky.

When I first put these on I really loved them. But the straps on the side are too short if that makes any sense. I was not able to walk more than three or four steps before the back ankle strap was falling down because of the short side straps. I tried tightening it so tight that it was uncomfortable and they still fell down. Had to return them reluctantly because I really really liked them!
