The leather was “snake skin like”, so at the toes it wrapped over the front of the shoe oddly. I had the thought that one good whack on a curb would ruin the front of the shoe.

Not like normal TB shoes. Right shoe is actually crooked and seems that strap is longer on right shoe than left when holding them up together. seems like a cheaply made shoe
