I couldn’t love these boots more! We got a new puppy this year and I needed a boot to slip on quickly for potty training. My Uggs weren’t holding up to all weather conditions so I was specifically looking for something lined with warmth and comfort for multiple quick trips outside day and night. These check every box! I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 and I sized up to a 9. I love the extra room for socks and general comfort. I would say you could size down if you like more of a snug feel. The size 9 doesn’t feel too big and they don’t slip off when I walk if you’re worried about that. They just feel roomier which I appreciate as I get older! These hold up to all weather conditions and keep my feet dry and warm. I’ve even been wearing them in the snow and my feet stay warm. They are my new favorite boot and I own several different top brands- Uggs, Sorels, Kamik, LL Bean, etc. The only downfall is that they don’t provide much traction in icy conditions. I slipped on my icy sidewalk after a winter storm. With rain and snow they are fine- but didn’t hold up to ice. But that could be said about lots of footwear I suppose.

I REALLY wanted to like these boots. I tried a 9 and walked right out of them (I normally buy a 9M). So I ordered an 8. It was still sloppy around the heel but the fit was better in the 8. It's a well made and cute boot. I work outdoors a lot and I wanted a step up in warmth from my go to Sloggers. However, when I wore them for some time, my left foot went numb. Yikes. The heel is too wide for my foot and the ball is too narrow. Sigh. Back to the drawing board.

These boots were purchased as barn boots. My feet get really cold really fast. I normally wear a 5-1/2 boot so ordered a 5 and a 6. The 6 was too big. The 5 fits comfortably with a thin sock, toe warmers and Acorn fleece socks. No break in required. They are very comfortable. My feet are still warm after 3 hours with temps in the low 20s. The sole seems slippery on ice, packed snow and smooth surfaces. These seem to be really warm, comfy and practical boots. And they don’t look too bad.

Looking for boots to slip on that are insulated for going out with dog or working in off season in the garden. I am usually a nine but these swam on me even with thick socks. Need to downsize to 8 but not available. Bummer. They seemed sturdy and well made and warm.

The fit is perfect, just the boots I needed for barn chores and warmth.
