I have always loved the look of these beautiful, stylish boots, however, the sole feels thin and doesn't seem it will be good in ice or snow. We were comparing this to the rugged, vibram sole of the Ugg Adirondack boot. Once you slip them both on, the difference is significantly noticeable.

For $240 dollars, Id expect these to last more than a few years. I received these as a Christmas gift 3 years ago and almost immediately the snaps on the sides busted off. I was able to live with that, but then the shaft got floppy, and the rubber cracked that if I step into an icy puddle my feet get wet! Furthermore they are fairly bulky that walking for any extended period of time, especially in snow, feels very tiring, and Im accustomed to long walks. I never get to splurge on myself and my husband rarely does as well, to get such an expensive gift only to have it fall so short is just demoralizing.
