I was disappointed, I currently own 11 pairs of Sorel shoes. I hadnt paid close attention to the materials. 100% synthetic. They felt and looked like cheap knockoffs. I immediately returned them. I continue to wait for my credit.

These are the most comfy loafers you can buy. The entire sole is rubber so there's tons of cushion. Wore them through airports right off the box and they were great. The heel is not that high.

I have wide feet but not clinically wide, what I call farm girl feet. Still, I couldn't get my foot all the way in the shoe past the vamp which is TIGHT tight. I'm typically a size 10 and started out with the suggested 10 in these. I feel I could size up a half in Sorel and it would fit, but I didn't love the dullness of the finish of this loafer in real life as it makes it look cheap and plastic-y. Immediately returned.
