the lace up came tacked down to slip on, but i have narrow feel and clipped that so now I can tighten

These are so freaking cute and comfortable. They have a native flavor. The stitching is nicely done, but the scalloped edged sole really makes them. I love them and had tons of compliments the first time I wore them. I got a half size smaller with the stretch fabric. Buy, buy, buy!

I would have given 5 stars, but I had to get out a seam ripper to detach the stitched laces in order to adjust them. (Why were they stitched down?) While I was at it, I removed the 'Skechers' tag on the tongue of the shoe. That tag just looked tacky and was redundant - there was already a Skechers label on the back of the heel. Love the shoes now that I have made those alterations.
