I only had to return these due to them being so large in the ankle area BUT, I wanted to give a great review of the quality of this product, which we don't see much of these days! I would need a special size, like if I ordered extra wide it would be even larger in my ankle, I have small ankles and very wide metatarsals so I'm hard to fit BUT these are SO well made, the style is NOT like SAS shoes, these are actually quite sexy LOL for jeans in the winter, etc. The material on the sides makes a "bootie" quite comfortable, no leather scraping across your ankles. These were so comfortable I'm so sad I have to return them. They are very true to size, I was so surprised. I am an 11.5 extra wide toe box, so the 11.5 wide (hard size to find also) was absolutely that, and even with my orthotic it was nice, but again, just too much room in the ankle (why I gave it a 4 - it's like a men's width ankle area), I had to tighten the laces til the eyelets met and that scrunched up the tongue. These are very well made, very cushioned, neutral and stable bottom and room for an orthotic. Hope this helps someone today :)

These shoes are especially comfortable. They have a roomy toe box, soft and supportive insole, and lace up for a custom fit.

The show was comfortable in a squooshy way and I liked how much space there was in the tow box but the arch and heel areas were too big, even when laced tightly. I need more stability and support.
