This boot is similar in look to La Canadienne's Gaetana, which I wore for ten years (!). The boot looks great. The problem is the height of the heel, which is too high. If the heel were the same height as my previous Gaetana, I would have kept these. These feel like "high heels" in that all my weight is on the ball of the foot. This would not be comfortable for all day wear and walking, which is what I need them for. In addition, it may be unstable on snow/ice. Sadly, I must return them.
