OUCH!! While the heel height was great and the heel provides sturdy support, these shoes, cute as they are, cut right across the tops of the toes. After two hours of wear, I had blisters on the sides of both big toes, and skin rubbed off across tops of my remaining toes. Unfortunately I didn't bring a backup pair of shoes to the office! I recommend against these for anyone looking for a comfortable shoe out of the box.

Also wanted to add what others have already written. Beautiful shoe, well constructed, and surprisingly comfortable (surprising because I don't find heels to be comfortable as I have terrible feet). I also tried the L.K. Bennett Sersha which wasn't as comfortable, had a harder footbed and made loud noises as I walked. So those are going back. These get to stay.

These shoes are so lovely, the heel is high enough for dresses and skirts that don't look right with flats, but low enough not to cause pain - and the shape allows plenty of room for the toes to be comfortable and not get rubbed to bits like I often experience in pointy styles. I got the burgundy to replace a pair of fuchsia suede pumps that had about a 4 inch stiletto.. which I loved in my 20s but in my mid 30s I am done with shoes I can't actually get around in!

Excellent quality, great fit. I have such a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable and stylish with my myriad of foot issues. I wore these for 2 days out of the box at a wedding and I had no back problems, no issues with my wide foot and bunion. I"m thrilled with these shoes and would highly recommend if you have similar foot issues. I don't have a lot of shoes, so I'm willing to pay top dollar for something that is comfortable and stylish.
