I really loved these, they're pretty, the footbed feels good & they're well made. Sadly, just a few minutes wearing them around the house showed how painful the thick Velcro closures are.
Each strap had a sturdy Velcro closure, and regardless of tightness, the top one digs into your foot because the tab is so thick. I took a photo of the marks on my foot after a few minutes in them. Notice the semi-circular indent below the 2 red marks, all from the shoes.
Another downside: if you have bunions they won't be contained. Again, regardless of how loose or tight you strap them, the bunion is gonna push out between the top 2 straps. It doesn't look like it will, but it does.

Super comfortable, awesome all around. "Medium" width isn't always wide enough to fit me right, but these are shaped well so the medium width works for me.
