Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)Buyers beware of this shoe!! I have had this shoe for nearly a year and have worn them often. A month ago the end of one of the ties on top pulled out of the casing. Because Clarks boasts a lifetime warranty and I knew Zappos would not accept a return of worn shoes (though they have accommodated me before...), I went directly to Clarks and submitted a complaint. Clarks' response from customer service was this: "Tassel breakdown is fairly common in shoes, and this is not an issue that affects the structural integrity of the shoe. My best recommendation would be to glue tassel back down, or take it to a shoe repair shop for a fairly inexpensive fix. I have included a 25% coupon code that you can use towards your next purchase. ..." This is one unhappy customer!! I responded and Clarks has now offered to replace the shoe with one comparable, but I have to pay for shipping to them so they can first inspect the shoes, "Your shoes will be inspected upon receipt by our warehouse. If we agree that your shoes do not meet our high standards, we will be happy to replace the shoes based on the preferences you indicate on your paperwork." I thought Clarks was better than this.

I love this shoe but it is so wide in the heel I can't keep it on. I ordered my regular size (8M). I exchanged for 8.5N and I still can't keep it on. It is a really cute style but doesn't fit. I'm disappointed.

This is my favorite loafer. I own it in black, navy and brown. I am replacing the black while I still can get it because I wear it so much. I do remove the insoles and place my own arch support in them now, but I used to wear them as is before age made my feet so flat. These are great to walk in and the soles are well cushioned.
