Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)I bought the 9.5 medium in taupe. As another reviewer noted, only one zipper functions. Sizing is off for Blondo in this shoe. I have size 9 Blondos from prior seasons and I tried another one of their styles in a 9.5 and they all fit perfectly. This particular boot is off in width and length. I need to order up to a size 10. I also need to point out that the front of the shoe is extremely narrow. This suits me well as I am a 9.5 AA (true narrow) width. Medium and wide feet you have been warned. Manufacturers need to do a better job of sizing shoes. Also, shoes need to be offered in widths. There is not a universal width and it makes it extremely frustrating to try and buy shoes. I appreciate the generous return policy with zappos. In fact, I exclusively buy shoes from zappos.

Oh, how I wanted these beautiful, waterproof boots to work! I usually wear an 8.5, but I followed everyone's advice and order a 9. But that was too big -- it kept slipping off my heel (cue blisters!) and felt extra roomy overall. So I returned the 9s and ordered an 8.5. But those were waaay too tight in the toes and felt cramped in the heel, too. What's going on? The "9" was probably a least a full size bigger than the "8.5." Sigh. Back they all go.

I ordered a 6M off of blondo.com, and it was too narrow for me, so I ordered a 6W off of Zappos (different color) because they were sold out on the blondo website. When I received them, the same Samara style in a different color and width from Zappos was noticeably shorter than the 6M from blondo.com and much narrower! Something is clearly off with the sizing. A nice looking shoe, but inconsistent sizing and I will be returning.

As others noted, this shoe runs a bit smaller and narrower than the other Blondo boots I own. I've worn 8 regular (though I generally have wide feet) without issue in other styles - I'm going to try and 8.5 but I don't know if the increase in size will help enough with the width. But grateful for fast shipping and easy returns to try different options quickly!
