  • The Dr. Martens® 2976 Leather Chelsea Boots are made from Ambassador leather upper, heavyweight and oily leather that has been tumbled to retain its natural characteristics and markings. These boots are styled with a classic AirWair heel loop while the Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with signature welt stitching for long-lasting durability. These leather boots come with an EVA insole that makes them comfortable for all-day wear. These Chelsea boots look heavy and rugged but feel soft and comfortable.

Very difficult to get foot into and out of shoe. Ended up with leg cramps from the foot contortions needed to get these shoes on & off. Returned immediately.

I normally wear a women's size 7 in all footwear. I ordered a 7 and 6. The 7 feels a tad on the large size but the 6 was small. The 6 was nearly impossible to get my foot into. Once I did, it was tight on the top of my foot (I have a pretty high instep). Maybe it would have stretched over time but I would have had a difficult time wearing them enough to break them in. The 7 is slightly easier to get my foot into. Still a bit of challenge. Once on, overall it feels a little on the large size but nothing an added insole can't fix. Nice looking boots. Definitely look larger on my feet then other boots I've owned but I like the chunky look.
