Figuring out sizing was tricky for this shoe. I am regularly a US women's 8 but have always purchased UK 5 for my dr. martens boots. These 1461 Bex fit more true to size than expected and I had to go for a US women's 8 (my toes were hitting the front when I tried walking in the size 7). I would recommended ordering at least 2 sizes to try out. The leather is extremely stiff and takes time to break in. I've been layering 2-3 pairs of socks and they are slowly becoming more comfortable with each wear.

I really wanted to like these. They are very cute, but the black patent leather was very stiff and the tongue dug into my ankle. Otherwise, they seemed comfortable with a wide toe box. Sadly, had to return.

The material, as expected is stiff leather. Dr. Martens take a while to break in, so the comfort is not there initially.

Delivery gets a 5 star, I live in a US territory and normally shipping takes at least 2 weeks but it came in a week! So fast! The shoes however are just as any doc marten, they are extremely stiff and a tad uncomfortable at first.. These pairs in specific def run a bit big. I usually wear a size 7-71/2, I ended up getting a 6 after reading reviews and they just a tad bit too perfect but I know forsure if I went for a 7 it would have been too big unless I were to use an insole. I did the good ole blowdryer and thick socks trick and they feel a lot more loosened now. I'm sure with more wear it will become more comfortable as well. Overall, they are so cute and I love them! Even if I suffer a bit wearing them :,)

The shoe was a little larger than I expected, and also a bit less flexible than I anticipated. I've just been wearing them with thicker socks and it is okay, but when I wear thin socks they are a bit looser than I anticipated and the material doesn't really bend with you. Also, the soles are very squeaky when you walk on linoleum. But I still love the style and they were aesthetically just what I was looking for, so I will keep them.

I actually bought my daughter size which is a 7.5 so we went with an 8 it was huge like huge. So I ordered the size 7 and it fit perfectly. Zappos costumer service of course is the best so it was pretty painless
