These are really cute and offer good support for someone with finicky feet like mine. I like the way they look, but I REALLY wish Taos’ sizing wasn’t so small!
I usually wear a 7/7.5 on shoes, erring at 7. These are size 8, and they’re simply not tall enough from sole to top for my very high insteps. I don’t have wide feet, so a wide fit would be too loose.I will keep them, but they look like my foot is barely in it, and they’re very snug, despite the laces being loosened greatly. This is a brand issue: I’ve had Taos sneakers before, and this is a consistent problem. This isn’t an issue with other sneaker-type shoes that lace up in other brands.

I do not have big fit, so I was really surprised that when I tried them on they were really tight on top front part of the shoes. I unlaced them thinking this was the issue, but it was not. I have to return them, which is upsetting because my toes were happy, but the top part of foot was not.

I always buy a half size up when buying Taos so this was no different. It fits great. I love all the Taos sneakers, but this pair came with an added bonus of a little more traction than the Stars and Plim Souls.
