I love these shoes! I have 2 pair. My story: I needed a new pair of walking and gym shoes and wanted them to be cushy since I have been dealing with overall muscle aches and arthritis this past year. I usually wear a narrow in Brooks Ghost (and they are wonderful shoes) but only 2 colors are offered. I have had a more narrow foot all my life so nice cushy running shoes are usually only B width or wides and too wide in the front and sometimes the heel. I have had a problem for years getting shoes that fit (and need doctoring) in general. I went to a local running store to get an updated feet assessment and recommendations. They confirmed narrow foot, low arch, low instep. They brought out some brands (and none were a narrow width since they did not stock them). Mizuno Wave Sky 8 was the first I tried. I came back to it after 3 other tries. I was amazed that it fit like a glove (with original insert). It was cushy. I bought it. They did not have another color so I came to Zappos and bought a second pair. I am considering a third. When your body and back gives you issues the shoes you wear are so important and the investment is worth it. I suggest that if your foot is more a true medium you may find these a comfy fit or too narrow - you just have to try. Even different makes in a brand fit differently. There is a wide available too. I had not heard of this brand before but I am so glad I found a brand that I can switch off with my Brooks and be comfortable and supported.

Tried these at a demo run last night. Ran/walked around 3 miles. These felt fabulous! I'm a die hard Waverider fan and these felt very similar with just a little more cushion! These are definitely going to be on my buy listalong with the Waverider, of course! I tried my normal Mizuno size 9 and they were perfect. No rubbing, not weird issues. And the colors are great too! If you like the Waverider but want a little more cushion, this is the shoe for you!

I love these shoes right out of the box. As a size 10 W with falling arches and plantar fasciitis, I need shoes like this just to visit muesums and other public spaces with hard floors, so I save them for that purpose. I plan to buy more when I can. No breaking in period needed! This was my first pair of Mizunos. More of this please, Zappos!! (Also did not need to insert orthotics.)

I bought a pair of Wave Sky 8 at a local running shop. Never wore MIzuno before. I wear a women's 11, but got fitted for a men's size because they did not have an 11 women and the Mizunos runs short and narrow. I bought a men's 10 which is an 11.5 women's. I loved the shoe so much that on black friday I bought TWO pairs of women 11.5 at incredible black friday prices. The shoes fix spectacularly well. They are soft and comfortable. Supportive and feel durable. Too many shoes today are boxy and not durable. MIzuno, you have a fan! Keep it up. Now I am thinking about a woman's tennis shoe but your sizing does not go above 11 for women. And if Mizuno tennis shoes run small, then I will have to hope the mens run narrow enough to accommodate - or I am back to NIKE!.
