Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)Bought these for my growing kid. When my 11 year old does go to schoolit's usually outside and often cold, snowy or muddy. He had grown into adult sizes, but still wanted Bogs, as they're the best for those conditions. He has wide feet and calves, but they fit okay even with his pants tucked in. He is a sturdy guy. He misses having the handles to pull them up, and they're a bit taller than the description states, but he likes them after several hikes through our snowy field. We are the same size, except I have even wider 17 inch calves, they did not fit me in the calves when I tried them on with leggings, but the foot bed seemed true to size.

I don't have horses or cattle so I never thought of Bogs. My daughter does have horses and told us to try them. So comfy to take care of the chickens in the mud. Just waiting for a big snow storm to see how warm they are!
