I'm disappointed to discover that this "original Fjallraven" is now made in Vietnam. The price is no longer justifiable. And the straps are bare-bones 1 inch nylon, ouch!

I am kicking myself for taking the tags off this bag. I purchased the black which was a huge mistake. It looks so dirty and it’s barely been used, even after wiping it down. I wanted the bag for the quality, but it looks so dirty all the time that I don’t ever want to use it.

when I was an exchange student at a university in West Germany in 1989 this bag was all over campus and I thought it was kind of silly-looking. Then when it was time to give up my son's diaper bag a few years ago and move onto something a little less cumbersome I bought one! Now I have two, and I love them! Pluses: the straps are indeed thin and can feel uncomfortable after a bit if you are carrying a heavier load, but the generously-sized handles are awesome -- I love that I can carry this bag a few ways (both straps, one strap over shoulder, handles)! The little front pocket is great for holding my (older i)phone, and other small items, although it is on the small side; the zippers extend all the way down both sides of the pack so you can really open this thing up and clearly see what's inside, especially helpful if you need to dig around for something. Cons: the side pockets are too small to hold most water bottles, although good for stashing other things (eg hand sanitizer, doggie poop bags, your cell phone). Love all the fun colors, too, and the material is a nice departure from the standard nylon that's used in most backpacks.

This backpack is honestly one of my favorite purchases to date. It looks pretty small but you can really fit in so much stuff comfortably. I took it with my for a summer abroad program in France this summer, and was able to fill it with books and school supplies for my classes, and then use it on weekends for excursions with my friends (putting a travel umbrella, raincoat, water bottle, camera, book, mini makeup bag, etc.). And also, it is just SO CUTE!!! I have received so many compliments on it and many people have mentioned how surprised they are by how much it can fit! I am actually planning on buying another one soon in a different color because of how much I absolutely adore this backpack. PS- I got the ocean green, and it is not as bright as the photos (which I am happy about) and is like a dark teal.

I love this backpack!!! As other reviewers have said, this small bag fits a surprising amount of stuff inside!! I saw one reviewer say that she returned it because it is so small and was confused by the amount of adults reviewing it well. That seems strange to me because I bought it as a diaper bag for my 3rd baby. I will also occasionally have stuff for a 6 year old and a 3 year old inside. Admittedly I do not find huge diaper bags helpful, but I think this is the perfect size. I loaded it up with all of my baby essentials and it was the perfect size. Diapers, wipes, sippy cup, change of clothes for baby, extra shirt for me, a couple bags of snacks, my wallet, phone, sunglasses, etc. Perfect! All of this room is possible because the bag is wider than you think from front to back rather than solely from top to bottom. The best part about this backpack is that the zippers go all the way down on each side, so you have full view of what is packed and no more digging necessary! I did not find the straps uncomfortable at all when it was fully packed. The hardest decision is going to be which color to keep!! I bought a few of them because I couldn't decide. Ox red, royal blue, leaf green, graphite, and black. I am leaning towards graphite because it will go with everything and not get dirty at all. It is a bit cuter than black. The other colors are gorgeous though and I wish I could keep them all!
