I failed to consider earlier reviews about this shoe running small. It does. I am impressed with the quality of workmanship and materials. A great buy. But I am also concerned about the interior chafing the tops of my toes and for that reason will not be reordering. Very sad.

I ordered a double wide. This shoe is NOT even a wide. It’s more like a Narrow. I tried to look at the label inside the shoe to confirm the width, but there was none. Either they sent the wrong size, or this is a joke. Never had I had a problem like this with Zappos.

I really like these shoes. They're woven leather, which will stretch out pretty quickly, so I think that's why some people are saying they're too small when they arrive. They need to be on the small side at first! I ordered my usual size and the shoes fit me well, both in the length and the width. They're slightly snug right now (brand new), but I got a pair a few summers back and they very quickly stretched to fit my feet perfectly with wear. I really love this style. They look great on, and they go with a lot of different styles of clothing. They don't pinch, rub, or give me any blisters. I could put them on right out of the box with no problem. I technically have medium-width feet, but they're definitely on the wide side of medium. I also have very high arches. Many shoes are painful for me to try to cram into, but these shoes aren't like that at all. Very easy to get on and off too. I don't have to unbuckle them, I just pull them on and pull them off with the buckle fastened. I bought a pair of these shoes a few summers ago. My only complaint with them is that on each shoe one of the woven leather strips pulled out and became loose, but that was after I had worn the shoes for a couple of year. The leather strips are just glued in, not sewn down, so they can come loose over time. But I had bought the natural color that first time, which is a great color for summer, but by the time the leather strips pulled out the leather was looking a little dingy and dirty, so I probably would have thrown them out soon anyway. I got the rust color this time in the hopes that the darker color won't look dirty over time.

I bought this same style many years ago in the same size and width. When they finally wore out I bought this pair, but these are too short and my toes are jammed against the front while my heel is right on the back of the shoe. Also, I wear narrow but these shoes feel too tight. I'm sure the width would stretch out and be fine after awhile but the length is what concerns me. I will be returning them. I would get a half size bigger but now they are out of stock.

I love this sandal and I'm glad I bought it. A few words of advice: I read other reviews that stated this shoe runs a big small, so although I am usually a size 6-1/2 US, I ordered a size 7. The fit is perfect. I also read that it runs narrow, so initially I ordered it in a Wide. It was far too wide, so I exchanged that pair for a medium or standard width, and that fits just fine. My only complaint is that as I hike somewhat long distances several times per week, the ball of each foot is usually a bit sore or fatigued, and although these are cushioned in that area, However, I still feel the ache. I suspect most people would find this shoe quite comfortable.
