- Waterproof and durable, the Arc'teryx® Norvan Ld 4 shoes are lightweight, supportive trail running shoes for lasting comfort on extended runs. The lacing system provides a smooth pull and secure midfoot fit while preventing backslip. These sneakers are made of two woven PFAS-free upper materials that are mapped to combine flex and breathability with targeted abrasion resistance. Their flexible, laminated TPU reinforcement zones add protection and abrasion resistance. These lace-up shoes are made of an EVA insole, cotton lining, and 45C dual-density midsole that combines cushioning with lasting shock absorption and support. The tongue pocket secures the laces, eliminates lace bounce, prevents snagging, and holds the knot while the flexible external frame wraps the midfoot for a secure hold that prevents forward slide and toe bang. These low-top shoes are designed with a RIDE Vibram® Megagrip EVA outsole with LITEBASE technology that delivers durability and enhanced grip across a range of conditions while shedding every gram possible and a mud-releasing custom 4mm lug pattern that provides grip on hardpack, bite on soft trails.

I wanted to LOVE this shoe. Its overall fit and style are unlike anything I've tried in a long time. But the tongue is a dealbreaker - it's too thin - I could feel every lace cutting into the top of my foot. Hopefully Arc'teryx solves this.

These we're my go to trail shoe for the spring - summer season. From snowy ascents to slick roots these shoes gave plenty of grip while also having enough cushion for the super long days. They fit great and i'll be using them again next season.

performance wise these are awesome, very grippy and the fit is amazing but im on the edge about the durability of these, I have about 12-15 miles on these and one of the seams is already coming unglued. If your reading this arcteryx how should i fix it.
