LOVE these shorts! No doubt they are an investment, but so comfortable, so perfect! For refernce, I am 5'8, 145 lbs, and usually a size 6 in bottoms, size 6 fit me perfectly!

Pros: Materials and craftmanship are top notch. Cons: The tongue garage to stuff laces interferes with laces and prevents a tight secure lace up. Needs another lacing eyelet and a better heel cup; this creates an unsupported void between medial ankle and heel, leading to arch, calf and Achilles stress and early fatigue.

Absolutely love this jacket. So lightweight yet warm. I am a medium / size 8 but my upper arms are larger than average so jackets can be tight in this area but not this one despite its slim fit. I am even able to comfortably layer. Jacket has a lot of give, is extremely comfortable. The interior zip pocket is a bonus.

Soles are spongy and squish when I walk. I replaced the insoles to try and improve the stability but this didn't help. Annoyingly, the very first time I pulled on the tongue loop/pull it broke. As a result I use these as my backup shoes but even as backups they are wearing faster than Salewa's I wear twice as often. Given how expensive the Norvan LD's are I expected much better quality and durability. I would not buy the Norvan LD's again or recommend them.

I've really enjoyed this shell jacket. I did not own the previous version of this jacket, and so, I can't comment or compare. But, this version of the shell jacket works really well. It is excellent at keeping me dry during a good proper rainstorm. The GORE-TEX material is excellent for being waterproof/resistant, but it's not too noisy. I use it on hikes with variable weather, and it is perfect. It is large enough for a sweater or fleece underneath. The pockets kept phones and wallets dry. If I could have one thing, it might be nice to have an inside pocket.

These are my new favourite pants and I've ordered a second pair in fear they could be changed in the future. Durable enough to not get even a mark knee baring limestone or even grovelling up granite off widths. On slimmer fitted pants I usually have issues with seams blowing out but these are still going strong. The fit is perfect and the material is stretchy and comfortable. Great for alpine scrambles or cool coastal hikes also.

Not only does this jacket perform well in the wild elements, it's one of the few high end rain coats that doesn't stop at the belt line, which eliminates the need for rain pants on quick commutes on a daily basis. Easy to toss over a sport coat or fleece layer for either work or leisure in a part of the country that gets 54" of rain a year.

Finally Arc'teryx has made a shoe that, so far after 1 month of wear and tear, hasn't ripped or torn. I was told by a Arc'teryx rep over email to stop purchasing shoes because I rip them too easily but after buying and trying several different Arc'teryx shoes I can now 100% say with honesty and integrity that this is by far the best trail shoe I've ever bought. All other Arc'teryx shoes I've bought and tried have ripped or torn but this one still looks almost brand new even after wearing it daily for just over a month excellent purchase!

Explored Iceland for 5 weeks; cycling 4 weeks and hiking one week (primarily in the Iceland highlands). I experienced a lot of adverse weather; involving massive winds and stinging rains during my solo bikepacking excursion. I'll admit I'm also incredibly rough with my gear, and truth be told, I've never been able to come home from one of my annual solo 5 week expeditions exploring a new region of the globe with rain pants still fully intact. I stayed dry even while biking and backpacking for hours (all day in some occasions) in bad weather. The pants are robust and held up to all that I demanded of them! They're lightweight and packable! I often wished for pockets, as I wore them quite regularly and would have valued this feature. Full zip also would be nice, but no issues on/off with the current system

Skyline Short Sleeve Shirt

I have 20 twenty of the old style skyline shirts with only a couple new ones as back up remaining and have worn them on cruises for semi formal dining in the Mediterranean to hikes In Machu Picchu. Since Covid19 have worn them to work and get compliments on the nice style. Good thing I got so many of the old but in my opinion from trying on the new design at shops the pockets, the fabrics and the buttons have been either styled down, cheapened and cut altered and from reading other customer reviews Arc'teryx got lost on the trail on this one. I would gladly pay for a more costly version of the old style shirt with the same fabric, style, buttons and loose the cheesy zipper!

I’d give these 3-1/2 stars. They fit but I’m not sure I’ll keep them. Love the fabric and the pockets but they’re a bit tight in the thigh and calf (I’m quite muscular though) while the waist is a bit loose (and I’m not skinny). Biggest issue is they’re quite short and look funny in the mirror. I ordered my usual size in this brand - size 8R.

Most companies have given into vanity sizing. Arc'teryx is the last brand that makes clothes small enough to fit my 5'5" 95# frame without the smallest sizes literally falling off me. The 00 fits with room to spare even with thermal pants under. So I wear these pants for most of the year (switching out for their skort in extra hot weather, and the beta ar pants in super snowy conditions). These pants just went with me to hike the JMT last week. Off to order a second pair.
