The North Face
In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach. The company soon became known as The North Face, a retailer of high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. (The name was selected because in the Northern Hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is generally the coldest, iciest, and most formidable to climb.) In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment, and in the early 1980s, extreme skiwear was added to the product offering. By the end of the decade, TNF became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs, and tents.
Using all types of proprietary technology, TNF provides jackets and coats, pants, bags, and shoes with the quality, durability, and above all else, functionality that's required for outdoor adventure. Throughout the years, the jacket and outerwear division has set the standard in the industry. I wear 2xl and it has just enough room to be comfortable inside.(can wear a hoodie) and still have space. very happy with purchase and the good deal zappos has saved $$. Will definitely be looking at other products on zappos

I bought for my son to wear in college in Cleveland, Ohio in the Fall - but we visited last week and the temperature was about 30 degrees and super windy. He was so happy in this jacket - he had it zipped up all the way and the hood on too! Kept him warm and blocked the wind perfectly, plus he looked super stylish :)

Jester Backpack

I'm a commuter in D.C. via metro, biking, & walking- rain or shine. I needed to upgrade my favorite osprey bag as it lived a long 7 years. I figured an upgrade to a larger backpack would suit my needs best. The Jester backpack is AMAZING! I appreciate the color as well; everyone seems to have black backpacks, but this helps my team and friends locate me a but easier in crowds. The many pockets help to keep things organized & the straps are SO comfortable! I didn't realize my previous backpack was uncomfortable with the weight until I switched, no pressure cutting into my traps & a little bit of ventilation to my back in the heat. Highly recommend the Jester backpack!!

Wear this shoe in all weather conditions and work condtions. As a full time time professor and ED nurse, this shoe works great for all of that, and no pain at the end of a 16 to 18 hour day. Very comfortable and easy to clean as well. Doesn't make your feet smell which is always a bonus.
