Stride Rite® has partnered with Zappos Adaptive to take part in the Single and Different Size Shoe Test. This test program allows the customer to purchase a single shoe or two of the same shoe in different sizes or widths. Now parents whose who need to fit their shoes around an orthotic or an AFO device, have two different size feet, or those that only need one shoe will no longer have to pay a premium for their footwear.

Thank goodness for these sandals. These and a specific pair of Saltwater sandals are the only sandals I have found that fit my 99th percentile 16 mo XW foot. They truly are wide and he happily runs around in them with ease. Finding shoes is a challenge and these are perfect. We did size up a half size from the Stride Rite Elliot but then again he’s growing so fast, that may have been more of the reason. For the people who are saying that the XW ones aren’t wide enough for their toddlers feet, maybe double check that you received the right shoe and it does in fact say XW on the inside.

Sole wears out a bit fast, but works generally pretty well and the kids like the light-up feature. Had to take out the insole and add orthotics because the insole was too flat.

Adorable and perfect for slipping into at the pool. The Velcro strap helps them fit snuggly giving him enough support to walk comfortably. Most importantly for me, he slips right into the shoe without a battle… Wish the blue color had been available but these go with everything.

Adorable shoes. My toddler loves to slip them on. Probably not the best for toddler feet, as the shoes don’t have great flexibility. They are lightweight and easy to wipe off.
