Northwoods Boots (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)
$69.95MSRP: $79.95
5Rated 5 stars out of 5

These hiking shoes are excellent. I purchased the big kid size. I hear no complaints from my 11 year old about feet hurting or shoes being too bulky/heavy after 1/2 day of hiking. The shoes are holding up after hiking in them several times.

Large enough to fit all of his books and lunch box.

(What's this?)I bought my grandchildren new robes for Christmas. They love the soft feel of the robe itself and the loose fit.

(What's this?)I'm a women's size 8 and the boots fit me. Too big for my son who wears kid's size 7, which is what we ordered. Besides that, they look waterproof and go up the calf a nice distance for heavy snow coverage.

(What's this?)This backpack isn't very durable. My 8 year old granddaughter used this for school and the straps have come apart at the top seam.

(What's this?)For a $60 backpack, I would expect it to last longer than 3 weeks. Carry loop appears to not have been sewn correctly and now it is fraying after only a few weeks back to school after it was given as a Christmas present. LLBean might replace, but I will have to find the time to go do that in-store. :-(

(What's this?)Price goes up but quality goes down! Boots split from the rubber sole to where the fabric connect. Wondered my my feet were wet. Had a friend alter them to seal the rubber back to the fabric. The liner inside have a hole at the ankle region. Poor quality product. Old bean boots used to last a long time. Now only made to last a couple season (if that) until you have to go back to buy new again. You are paying for the "name" not quality that it used to pride itself on.

(What's this?)We have purchased 3 Explorer Backpacks over the past several years or so and had been really happy with them. They are the perfect size for elementary students - school folder, coats, sports stuff, etc.fits great in them. However, we bought a new one for my 4th grade son this summer as his one that he had used for past 3 years was showing signs of wear. Similar to other reviews, within a month or so of light use the top strap ripped off (similar to other people's photos). I just submitted an exchange in the hopes that maybe they've solved the issue. The two other Explorer backpacks we had were great and have not had this issue. Keeping my fingers crossed.

(What's this?)Our toddler received these slippers for Christmas and wore them about 10 times. They are so cute and comfy, but there's already a pretty significant hole and wear on the bottom of both slippers. Definitely not for long term wear. Contacted customer service and they said I could return them for a possible replacement if deemed worthy. Probably not worth an upset toddler lol.

(What's this?)These are so cute, and they stay on my granddaughters feet. I like that they have rubber bottoms as well so she doesn't slip while toddling along. Just what I was looking for!

(What's this?)I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. Although it is listed as sleepwear, like a robe, I thought it would also be perfect for her to pull on after gymnastics when she is warm but needs to go outside to the car. When I picked her up one day, she was wearing itnice and cozyand kept it on in our chilly old house. It washed and dried beautifully.

(What's this?)Great backpack. I have bought for all of my children when they hit middle school. Bag has last each kid about 4 years. Only gave 4 stars because the water bottle holders are not useful for taller reusable water bottles. My kids have to stick their water bottles in one of the other pockets.

(What's this?)I got this book bag for my 7th grader. He needed a good book bag to carry heavy books and still have room for his lunchbox. I had a LL Bean bag when I was younger so I knew they were great and after all these years (20+) these book bags are still awesome!

(What's this?)My kiddo never complains of cold feet with these and the 2 liners are a lifesaver some days, but I will say every time we go into the snow and come back in , these boots are wet. And it doesn't even have to be wet snow or water.

(What's this?)I bought these for my son 10/18/25, received them 10/24. Around 12/5, not even a month and a half later, I noticed the front part of the sole that's glued to the toe box coming unglued. I message LLBean using their own site's email page around 12/10 to let them know, asking about next steps, and how to proceed about a return for refund (since the shoes are obviously used I didn't know if the same return process applies) and didn't get a response. Not even an automated email back letting me know they got the message. NOTHING. What kind of company is this, that makes products of such low quality and then simply ignores its customers when a problem comes up? The issue with the sole coming unglued happened even after I noticed my child's feet GETTING WET in these "waterproof" shoes. I was willing to overlook that issue, and was having him wear them only on dry days (very hard to do when you live in the Pacific NW). That means he only wore them maybe 3/4 of the days out of 40, being generous, OR 30 DAYS we owned the shoes. That is $3 PER DAY for the "privilege" of wearing LL Ban shoes!!! I don't think so. This was my first ever purchase and will for sure be my last as well.
