omg the picture looks as thought these are not tie shoes and they need to be tied... kizik is usually a slip on and the picture shows a slip on....extremely frustrating, did not order again... the customer service person was waYYY OVER THE TOP...trying to convince me she was right about everything... not a good experience imho, I'm older and have never spoken to anyone the way I did... well I have when needed...this one was imho trying to pick up on one thing I said and run with it and twist it... I stated I am done here and hung up.... I felt I had to be 100% rude and dismissive, trust me it would have been worse if I hadn't disengaged... not customer service. ugh YET WILL SAY, I NEVER EVER HAD THAT EXPERIENCE BEFORE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN WONDERFUL.....

Bought for a first grader. Which I hadn’t. Very hard to slip in since the tongue isn’t connected enough. You have to hold the tongue in place while putting them on, which defeats the whole point of the shoe. And the laces, though they aren’t to hold the shoe on, don’t stay tied regardless of how double knotted we make them. They aren’t bungee - just regular laces. Definitely do not recommend.
