F-Lite Max

the arch support was not necessary what was necessary was insoles the carved out sole makes for an uncuttable felling. why couldn't the sole have been plain flat?

Well made shoes! But ... although the rounded toe box allows toes to spread out east-west, unfortunately, my long second toe bumped against the top of the shoe. So I'm returning my regular size 9 for a 9.5, and hope that works.

(What's this?)As weird as it is, this feels like Inov8’s replacement of the F-Lite. I loved the F-lite’s and tried the new model and found myself in a completely different shoe. After reading some reviews on Reddit where people noted this was a closer replacement I gave these a shot. I might have liked the original F-lite’s better but I do appreciate the boomerang insole in these and have been happy with them overall. The sizing runs super small. I’m a 9 in women’s for my regular shoes (7.5 in men’s) and I am a 10.5 in these (8 in men’s). Also these shoes are unisex. If it says they are out of stock in one gender, or the price is lower in one vs. another, they are the same shoe. 10.5W=8M.

I like the style and color. I ordered a half size up and it was still too short, so I'm ordering the full size up now. I consider it as having no arch support, but with my custom insert, it felt pretty good. Toe box room is perfect -- some room for my bunion but not overly so.

(What's this?)These were clearly used shoes, there was no packaging in the box and the bottom were very dirty

(What's this?)I have a pair of regular F-flys, size 40.5. I usually wear 9.5 US women’s, regular width fits my bunions well. I am an active physiotherapist who wears these daily at work, running around on concrete pad, and recommend this brand to patients with foot problems who need arch support—you can easily add an orthotic—and a wide toe box. Inov8: Please stop making pink and white women’s shoes!!! Newtons used to be my running shoe of choice, but now appears the company is going under. (Newtons marketed themselves to people who ran throughout the lifespan). Pls consider making bold colors —M & W—and adding a metatarsal roll bar on the sole. Agree with prior review about 0 drop heel. If you add a small cushion under the met heads , there’s no need to change arch height. PS. Do you need a PT on your design team? Love your overall design! My 3rd pair of INOV8s & first one to not fit. I'm a true 6.5 and do not usually have any issues with shoes not fitting. These were too small & squished my toes. Sadly, I had to return them.

(What's this?)Inov8 loves to make the worst updates to the best shoes. Nice wide toe box but weirdly narrow mid and square heel made them feel off balance. Also run half size larger than most Inov8’s and 1.5 sizes larger than my regular shoe size. The toe box though wider is no longer all knit and kind of stiff at the toe.

(What's this?)Unlike the previous review, these shoes are exactly what they are supposed to be. These are "barefoot" training shoes, so the arch support is supposed to be very minimum. Also, the width of the toe box is to allow for the the toes to be able to spread as though you were barefoot. As some who actually trains barefoot where allowed and able, these shoes provide the right amount of cushioning as to not take away the purpose of training barefoot.

(What's this?)I actually went up a half size because I read the reviews. I should have gone up a full size. The toe box seemed roomy and the heel seemed to fit well, I have a narrow heel. They look very nice. I think I’ll order a 9 1/2 and a 10 and send one back

There are like bumps in the edge of the heel on these..like an arch support actually on your heel. The strangest thing. A total nope unfortunately!

I am returning them because my orthopedist said I need at least a half and inch heel for my feet and these were basically flat. They looked great!

(What's this?)I wore these shoes all over France and Portugal for over a month. They needed a bit of break in because my feet can be difficult, but once they were good, they became my go to shoe. They worked quite well on the cobblestone streets and the fact that I could really feel the ground beneath me made it easier to navigate uneven terrain. Highly recommend!!

The toe box was wide, but not boxy, and super comfortable. Just what I've been looking for. The arch support felt good until I started walking around in them. It felt as if the shoe narrowed considerably just past the arch, and I could feel pressure from the arch on the inside of my heels. I tried to reason it away because I really liked the look of the shoe. Common sense won out in the end, and I returned them.

(What's this?)This is a wonderful shoe if you want a barefoot. I love it. I wear a women's 11 in walking shoes. This 11 was too small. I think because it is unisex meaning 9.5 men, 11 women, the 11 is not an accurate woman's 11. Returned it only due to size. Liked the shoe and great price.

for as wide as the shoe looks it was tighter than expected.

(What's this?)Shoe ran half a size too small so had to change 8.5 for 9.0. Their measurement guide was not helpful in selecting the correct size which would have been a 9.5. I’m a US 8.5. Well made, comfortable shoe that can be used for hiking but also for walks around town and going to dinner. Great all in one shoe for a trip.

The website lists these shoes as medium width but when you receive them, they will be wide. The box says wide and the shoes have a tag that says wide. I tried ordering them three times and the same thing happened. It might be due to them being "barefoot shoes" so your toes can spread out. naturally They don't actually feel super wide, but they definitely made my feet look like duck feet. They do not have good breathability either. I wanted to like them, because as weightlifting shoes go, they are on the more attractive side than most, but they've got too many issues, so these are going back.

(What's this?)I bought these hikers because my existing, new hiking shoes were causing immense foot pain. These shoes although extremely lightweight provide a lot more substance around the toe area. I was having significant numbing & shooting pains with the Merrill’s I used before. With these shoes, I’m back to enjoying my hike instead of worrying about every single step. Two points to mention. One is these shoes run small. I ordered a full size larger & they are still almost too small. I could use about 1/4 size more room. Second is these shoes run narrow. I have narrow feet so it doesn’t bother me, but they do seem to be more narrow than “regular” (non-narrow) shoes. Keep that in mind if you have a wider foot.
