While unboxing these shoes you get a sense of the way this manufacturer wants you to experience them. At first glance they’re rigid and the finishes are distressed giving a very worn-in appearance. The colors stand out more in person than they do in the pictures but they are indeed a few shades darker than one would’ve expected. The glue finishing on the soles is a bit sloppy and the laces seem to be a bit too short. They fit snugly on your feet so get a size larger unless you like them to fit like that. All of this being said, I was very surprised how well they feel with each step I took. I had just changed out of another pair of sneakers from a major brand that I believed to be comfortable. I can definitely say these shoes provided a level of shock absorption that feels super solid and a sole that gives the impression it will be very durable.

DO NOT BUY. Have had for 6 months. Size was completely wrong and the shoe squeak when you walk. Very embarrassing.

I just got the shoes and I loved the way it looks. It is awesome that you can take off their insoles and put any arch support ones which is a huge plus. I recommend to your other insoles if you want more comfort.

The boot looks nice, but the leather is a little tough and inflexible and runs at least one size smaller than marked. Reasonable boot if you have small and narrow feet.

This is an interesting shoe. The upper design fits better than most shoes I have owned (very much "like a glove"). The tongue and counter are snug and hold firmly (comfortably) around the ankle, which makes them very stable. I think they will break-in and stretch nicely, but they are a hair on the narrow side. To me, they feel best without socks. The sole is hard, and there is little cushion in the insole. They are still very comfortable despite the lack of cushion, but I imagine they might not be great on a long walk or standing for long periods. The only bummer about these is the distressed look. I didn't notice before ordering, but the forefoot already has a walking crease, as does the counter. The leather is a bit distressed on the sides, and the right shoe laces are even slightly damaged like they caught in a bike chain. I would prefer to add all this wear myself, especially with a hefty price tag.

Great looking shoe. Solid construction. Ships with 2 colors of laces: blue and white. A little stiffer than an average sneaker, but still very comfortable. The width is on par with other medium width shoes. Ordered a half size bigger than I normally do (no half sizes were available) and the shoe fits perfect.

These are comfortable and swanky. I love them. I had heard they would be narrow or stiff. They are neither.

Solid shoe. The leather is substantial on these. Overall, maybe a bit more stiff than I expected. The soles are a little wonky in that they are pretty narrow at the heel. Not sure if this is based on some old school bike design but it definitely can reduce the stability. Don't get me wrong, I dig these bad boys and the leather appears to be excellent quality. Just a few things about the design that struck me as odd. Wish they made the same shoe in gray that was slightly more flexible without the colors on the side. Oh well, if you like the look of these, you should like the shoes. Kind of spendy though I guess. Wish we could get them at European retail prices.

Comfortable and fashionable shoes! My husband was choosing between these and some Kenneth Cole shoes to wear to work on more casual days. In his opinion, these were not as comfortable as the Kenneth Coles but fit well and are very nice looking/work appropriate. Worth the cost!

Looks and style of the shoe very true to the pictures. Definitely an eye-catcher. The piece that was a surprising is how silvery and reflective the back of the shoe is. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it's not as comfortable and light as I expected. It's one of those shoes that needs breaking in before it becomes comfortable. The first time I wore it all day my feet ached.

These shoes caught my attention because they look cool, "European." However, they were extremely uncomfortable and after a day of wearing them, both by heels were in severe blisters. I will be returning those and will never purchase from that brand again.

I rarely write reviews but when I read the only other review for these shoes I felt the need to say something. I have been searching for a pair of shoes that would be comfortable enough to walk around the streets of New York but fashionable enough to get compliments on. These shoes are exactly that. I have really bad knees and and flat feet. The arch support in these shoes is far better than most other shoes on the market right now. While shopping for shoes I've only been able to find flat shoes with absolutely no arch support at all. Another great thing about these shoes is the fact that you can remove the insole and insert a custom orthotic if needed. Also, I have a medium to wide foot and don't think these shoes are narrow. I would highly recommend purchasing them.

Overrated and overstated for this price!! There are no 1/2 sizes available, and this shoe would be more than deserving of such sizing. The shoe itself is narrow, and the fit is hardly comfortable, The insole is extremely cheap with little cushioning or arch support. Remove it and replace it with a quality insole - you may have a product to wear. The leather upper is rather stiff and needs a bit of break-in or some Nokona glove oil to soften it! Materials used are basically cheap...the outsole lacks any flexibility. Overall -- 2 stars!!
