While unboxing these shoes you get a sense of the way this manufacturer wants you to experience them. At first glance they’re rigid and the finishes are distressed giving a very worn-in appearance. The colors stand out more in person than they do in the pictures but they are indeed a few shades darker than one would’ve expected. The glue finishing on the soles is a bit sloppy and the laces seem to be a bit too short. They fit snugly on your feet so get a size larger unless you like them to fit like that. All of this being said, I was very surprised how well they feel with each step I took. I had just changed out of another pair of sneakers from a major brand that I believed to be comfortable. I can definitely say these shoes provided a level of shock absorption that feels super solid and a sole that gives the impression it will be very durable.

Solid shoe. The leather is substantial on these. Overall, maybe a bit more stiff than I expected. The soles are a little wonky in that they are pretty narrow at the heel. Not sure if this is based on some old school bike design but it definitely can reduce the stability. Don't get me wrong, I dig these bad boys and the leather appears to be excellent quality. Just a few things about the design that struck me as odd. Wish they made the same shoe in gray that was slightly more flexible without the colors on the side. Oh well, if you like the look of these, you should like the shoes. Kind of spendy though I guess. Wish we could get them at European retail prices.
