Love this hat! It's super packable, it's stylin' (at least from my gear obsessed perspective,) and it's a wee bit weather resistant thanks to its softshell fabric. I now have two of them haha.

I have owned this hat previously in the same size (Medium) - fit perfectly. This hat (sz medium) was WAYYY bigger and therefore I had to return it. Either the previous medium was too small or this one was too large - very inconsistent sizing...

Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)
I purchased a medium and it was a little snug but not terribly so. These are great hats for hiking in the late Spring, Summer and early Fall. They protect your head from the sun but are very light and can be folded up and stuffed in a bag. The material is khaki, which is good. The picture for the fatigue color looks more like a normal ball cap but it isn't. I have both the fatigue and the tan and like them both. The only complaint is that it arrived all crumpled up. I'll need to wear it once or twice for the material to relax and not look like I just rolled out of bed with my hat on.

With my large head, this hat's larger fit actually does the trick! It's labeled as XL but I have an XXL head, which is why I said it's bigger than expected. I wear my hat all the time :) This is my 3rd hat in this style from Outdoor Research. I keep losing them when I fold and store them lol
