Review for Zappos VIP Points (What's this?)Comparing the Hokua (sp?) Model, the Hokua is of better quality (thicker and stronger materials, better stitching). The Kipi is lighter, more narrow, and a half size smaller than the Hokua. The 12 Hokua fit great, had better support, was
wider, offered more foot protection (bottom of foot wasn't exposed to the ground), but did not offer the look I wanted. No regrets with the kipi, as they appear to dry quicker and are a better water/drying sandal (for beach). I purchased a 12 Kipi, and it fit more like a 11.5. I wear 12.5-13 Nikes, 12.5 Brooks, and 11.5 vans, if that helps.

Many people are not aware that Olukai sandals are slip resistant and make a wonderful boat sandal as your feet are always in place even in rocky conditions. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is because the thong tends to snap with too much forward pressure, but they look and feel great at all times.
