Comparing the Hokua (sp?) Model, the Hokua is of better quality (thicker and stronger materials, better stitching). The Kipi is lighter, more narrow, and a half size smaller than the Hokua. The 12 Hokua fit great, had better support, was wider, offered more foot protection (bottom of foot wasn't exposed to the ground), but did not offer the look I wanted. No regrets with the kipi, as they appear to dry quicker and are a better water/drying sandal (for beach). I purchased a 12 Kipi, and it fit more like a 11.5. I wear 12.5-13 Nikes, 12.5 Brooks, and 11.5 vans, if that helps.

Normally wear a 9.5/10 for most shoes. Initially got these in a 10 but they were too snug. Reordered in the 11 and they’re perfect.

Olukai always delivers a sturdy and multi-functional sandal. Many people are not aware that Olukai sandals are slip resistant and make a wonderful boat sandal as your feet are always in place even in rocky conditions. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is because the thong tends to snap with too much forward pressure, but they look and feel great at all times.

OluKai sandals are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend them!

The fit is good and they're very light but still has good cushion on the feet.

These are great sandals in almost every way. Wish they incorporated something into the foot bed that helped eliminate odors after time.

Best sandals I’ve ever worn and these are the second pair of OluKai I have owned. Spongy sole gives a lot of comfort they are sturdy stylish and don’t deform or age when wet. Great buy

Wow. Great fit, amazing quality, definitely worth a few more $ to get probably the best sandal (in my opinion) out there. I have had Reef, Hurley/Nike etc. and these are significantly more comfortable. This is my 4th pair of OluKai and still have them all. after 4 to 5 years they just do get a bit worn out but they still are in decent shape especially because I do not wear actual shoes from mid May-September. Totally get them!

These are insanely comfortable sandals. I own them in a couple colors in the adult version and could not resist buying these for my children. They're built well, are very versatile, and support their feet in the arches and foot bed. Totally worth the investment. Do it!

Purchased these as a gift for hubby and he couldn’t be happier. He said they are the most comfortable he’s had. Not like typical “flip flops” in that they stay molded to your feet.

They are very comfortable, good arch support. they seem to run a bit smaller than the Reef's i usually buy, so i had to return 1st pair and get the next size up.

this is probably my 10th pair of Olukai’s or so. Top 1-2 as far as comfort. perfect fit for my feet.

It’s my son’s 3rd olukai. It’s the only flip flop he would wear. Worth the investment for the quality and comfort.

Very comfortable sandel, sole provides good support, and the very soft comfortable cushion under your foot.

Bought them for hubs. He loves them. Great fit (not too loose) and comfortable.
