I bought these in black and white for my husband as we head to Europe soon and wanted to step up our style while gearing up for lots of walking. They definitely look retro - we lived the 1980s and used to own shoes like these back then, too. He finds them comfortable for everyday use. It is not a bulky shoe. However, it could use a little more cushioning around the ankles as he got a blister under one ankle on a day when he walked many miles. This might not affect all people since we all walk differently (pronate, supinate, etc.). Nice looking shoe!

20 minutes of walking and my heels were rubbed raw. There’s no padding, there’s no heel cup, it’s a very low-profile shoe.

I loved it, very soft and good fabric, plus it's just my size.
