I need to try the 7.5 to see if that fits better. The 8 is slipping in the heel even with thick socks so they’ll be returned also, sadly. I really love the quality, rich color, and style, just what I was looking for so I hope a 7.5 works.

The shoe is very attractive. I can’t speak to the comfort. I am reviewing because of the sizing. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 size shoe. I couldn’t even get my foot in the loafer. I am not going to purchase again because I have no idea what size to get. It feels like I would need a 7, which I have never worn before.

I have been a Cole Haan fan for years because I can always count on the workmanship and styling. I really wanted to love these shoes but the sizing and cut were all over the map. They were both a bit long, but wearable. But that length issue made the right heel slip way too much to be corrected with an insert. The left shoe was so tight I needed a shoehorn (remember those? !). It really felt like the 2 shoes were slightly different sizes. Returned them but unhappy I had to do that.

Beautiful, but these were so small that I couldn't get them on! On the other hand, the Stassi Penny Loafers in the same size fit perfectly!

I wore these shoes twice. On the first wear, the threads on the ruching started to break and loosen. On the second wear the entire top of the shoe became disconnected and I had to duct tape it together so I could continue walking at work. It was very painful.
