I bought these for my teenage son. The first thing he told me when he took them out of the box was that the white part of the checker board is not white. It's more like a cream color. I told him that is probably the way they make them so that the white vans swoosh design would stand out. Other than that, he loves them. They fit true to size and comfortable. He wears them to school everyday.

Good fit once broken in, minimal support, and non-removable insoles aren't great, but they're comfortable and simple.

I love these! I’ve been looking for a brown tennis shoe for a long time. I went down a half size, to a 10.5 instead of 11 and they fit great. I expect to wear these alot.

Purchased for my daughter who is just starting to wear women's sizes. She wears a youth size 4, so we thought 5.5 should work based on the usual conversion, but she ended up needing a size 6. She loves the unique style -- it's not the pattern everyone has, still light-toned but has some fun color to it. Works with all kinds of outfits. She hasn't had them long, but she says they're comfortable so far.

The Vans Old Skool shoes are just really cool looking shoes and don't really provide a lot of support if that is what you are looking for. Kind of flat footed shoes really.

Have always loved Vans shoes. They fit great and are long lasting! Also love all the colors and patterns!

Love old school vans

I wasn't sure whether to get my son regular width or wide because he is sorta but not that wide. I chose the regular and they fit great. He chose the classic look with shoelaces. The look is fantastic as I wore them back in the day. He has had many compliments at school and is very happy with our purchase.

It was just what I expected from the shoe.

My granddaughter loved them and they looked adorable in her first day of school.

Love these shoes so much! They do look more silver/sparkly in person than in photos online, but I really like them. They are super comfortable and have easily become my everyday sneaker/shoe.

As with all Vans Old School shoes I've bought the sizing was perfect with just enough toe room to ensure comfort. The width and arch support, especially the latter, ensured a very comfortable feel when walking about.
