The back of the sneaker is quite hard and uncomfortable on the back of my ankle. I was looking for a more orange than rust color. Nice overall - I think it would have broken in with a little wear.

I love my new VANS! The length and width are fine. I only wish they had more arch support.

Love this style, but the silver canvas material was so stiff! I had to return.

I bought the Chalk colored shoe. It is the most beautiful lavender shade. I usually wear a 10 in sneakers but these were just a little too long. They were not quite a half size too long but the extra length made them bend in a weird spot near the toes. If you're looking for a beautiful color this is it.

Fabric is very stiff

I’ve owned countless pair of Vans old school style. Been wearing Vans since 1984. I like the gum sole option just because the white soles are so difficult to keep clean no matter how careful you are or how often you clean them. The gum soles are much more forgiving. But this is my first pair of Vans, any style, that seem to have a stiffer heel area by the back of the ankle. When I wear these with low cut or no show socks that area rubs into the back of my ankle causing the back of my ankle to become tender and red.

I loved these shoes - I regret that they are stiff - but not in a bad way - I have achy feet and need something that will stretch out. Van's are awesome - these are adorable.

I'll buy Vans forever no matter what -- I will say the Comfycush Old Skool far and away is more comfortable than these classics, so I don't wear them quite as often as my other pairs. Still cute tho *shrugs*

I bought these in half-size larger to make sure they were comfortable. I didn’t expect them to feel so cushy, so that is a plus. they look so badass on, I wore them right out of the box, without socks...big mistake. In less than an hour, I developed blisters on my heels. These shoes need to be broken-in before wearing, socks or not!

Fun shoe. True to size. No arch support but fits well otherwise.

Adorable shoes, may try for a larger size, but not sure how much larger to go. At least a full size too small.

This is about my 10th pair of Vans. The sole is really not a true "gum bottom" it more yellow. But I still like them.

They're great, I have hammer toes though and should probably get something with mesh in the front at some point, but styles is too important to me. C'est L'Vie

First time wearing Vans - very comfy! One thing I did notice was that there was glue on the toe of each shoe. One spot right on the top of the right and the left look like it has smeared around the edge of the sole. For 45$ I'm not going to take the time to return them and sort of figure they are going to get dirty regardless.

The chili pepper suede is absolutely stunning! The style is classic, but this colour and the suede fabric gives them a little personality. These felt a little narrow out of the box compared to other Vans in this classic style that I've tried before. I was a bit worried. They do seem to be relaxing some. In fact, after just an hour or two, they seemed to fit better. I guess there is a bit of a break-in period. I got these in size 10. I usually wear either 9.5 or 10, depending on the shoe style. For reference, my Converse are actually size 9, in case that's helpful to anyone. These Vans in size 10 have a similar fit. There's no arch support, and like I said they feel a bit narrow, at least at first. I do think this style doesn't make my foot look as big as the classic Converse styles, so that's nice. They look super cute with leggings, and I'm sure will look great with jeans too.

Good fit, in typical Vans fashion. Limited arch support. Rose Dawn was a very muted pink color, not near as sharp as the photo implied.

I wish the tongues weren’t as long as they are. They dig into my ankles, so I guess I just have to wait for them to bend to comfort. They are very cute, though, and I do like them.

I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. Ordered a 9, based on reviews. Should have bought an 8.5. Too big and bulky. Sent them back. Otherwise, cute snd the taupe is a nice color.

I bought the shoes for my 14 year old as a Christmas gift. She hasn’t opened them yet but love’s Vans. I’m sure she’s going to be excite about these classics!

Love the shoes. My issue is that the color in person doesn't look like it does online. Online it's so pretty. In person, it's kind of an orange-y brown. Just not what I wanted. No biggie. I'll find something else.

I forgot how flat-footed Vans are, but they're cute for occasional wear and I love the pink/salmon color.

These are my go-to style of Vans and the only style I wear after trying many of their styles. They're a tad narrow for my feet and I find I fall between their size 8 and 8.5 so I do an 8.5 with thin insoles. This is okay since I find the sole a bit too hard and it helps the narrow feeling as well. Also must wear tab socks or taller, or will get blisters. Love how they look. Really stylish and perfect for San Diego life. Overall super happy with these shoes.
