Got these for wearing around the house, so although style is rather homely, I like them for their extreme comfort. The adjustable straps enable me to optimize for my feet, the flat soles maximize stability, and the soft leather uppers and cushy footbed make these ideal for me.

The leather in these sandals is not what I expect from Taos. It is stiff and scuffs easily. Irritates the top of my foot.

Shoe is wonderful...it's my foot that's the problem with some shoes. It doesn't sit straight in some styles but usually Taos work but this one didn't. Nice shoe tho!l

This Taos Slide is perfect for wearing at home! I have 3 pairs of Taos Sandals: Luckie (Low heel version) and a Slip On with a wedge heel. Both are no longer made. I ONLY buy the Taos with the CORK Sole. I needed a pair of Slip On Shoes to wear INSTEAD of Slippers. And yes.....I debated whether these were a bit too expensive JUST to wear inside the house! I need "House Shoes" with Firmer Outer Soles due to my Morton's Neuroma. My Keen Newport Slides can get a little snug in warmer weather and rub on pinky toe. My Wool Clogs (Stegman) are best for COLDER months! WELL, I NOW think that these were worth every penny (O. K. almost every penny as I added Points or my Promo to this purchase). The reason I am NOW even happier is that I NOW have a pair of "Backless" shoes to wear at home after getting Achilles Tendonitis. These (plus my Keen Newport Slides & Vionic Flip Flops) got the "Thumbs Up" from my Podiatrist. IF these had a Back Strap to wear Outside Every day - I would NOT have hesitated at all.

Where an 8 1/2. Ordered 9. Barely long enough. Seemed more wide than medium even with Velcro.

The sandals were comfortable, and when I would expect from Taos

I really love these shoes. They go with any outfit (long dresses, shorts, or jeans). The velcro closures make it easy to custom fit, I have a high instep. The closures are strong, so no need to worry about them coming loose. Great shoe!

At first I was happy with these sandals, but the more I wore them, the more I realized that they are actually too small for me. Now that I’ve worn them, it’s too late to return them. Definitely go with a size larger.

I am in search of a good house shoe, since I get too many aches and pains walking barefoot (and I refuse to wear street shoes in the house). These fit fine, but just did not wow me enough for the price.
