I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have a really hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and allow me to walk for longer distances. Zappos.com offered me a chance to try a pair of Aetrex shoes with the guarantee of free return shipping if they didn't work for me. Fortunately, I didn't have to test this, because the shoes were perfect. And I love them. I will definitely be shopping at zappos.com again.

I've been wearing the Julia frequently for five months. They have been the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've ever worn, right next to my Brooks Ariel athletic shoes. I wear orthodics, but without the right shoe they don't work well. This shoe holds my heel firmly in place. At first, the Julia felt stiff and uncomfortable around the heel and ankle, but after a few days of wear, they softened up without loosing any support.

My feet just sighed when I put these on. Very comfy, no edges where my sore spots usually develop. They will look great with casual clothes. I just wish they came in more colors!!!

Aetrex is a new brand of shoes for me and is quickly becoming a favorite. The Julia looks great and is very comfortable----a rare combination for shoes!

The Aetrex Julia shoes are absolutely precious. The tan color is a lovely bone color that would go with everything. They are so well made and though I don’t wear orthotics, I believe they would work very well in this shoe. Unfortunately, the shoes were not wide enough for me. I have problem feet and it is so tiresome to have only brown and black shoes to choose from.
