I absolutely love these booties: so glad I found them! I did the whole Goldilocks search for a comfortable, waterproof (or at least water resistant) winter boot that I could walk long distances in (prepping for european cobblestones) and that didn't look too aprés ski fuzzy or clunky. These are supremely comfortable with good support (high arch) and grippy soles. The pebbled leather is buttery, side zippers make it easy to get in and out (plus zippers have a water-resistant covering so hopefully rain/snow won't seep in), and the strap detail at the top allows for a little more flexibility in fit. They look cute with dresses/skirts and are so easy to pair with pants, either tucked in (leggings) or out (straight or wide leg easily fits over without lumps). I was trying them out in the house to make double sure I wanted to keep them (they're at the higher end of what I wanted to spend), and realized that I just automatically went outside in them for a walk... which means I had already bonded with them lol. Love the dark brown; goes with anything, especially all the beautiful browns that are out this season. My normal size is 9w, but I went up a half size so I could wear thicker socks, and am glad I did that. They're perfect. Fingers crossed now that they really will keep me warm and dry this winter.

Size 11M is pointy and narrow in the toe box.

Loved the look and the weather proofing but the arch hits me in the wrong spot

Bought these boots for an upcoming trip to Lisbon - lots of hills and cobblestones expected. Out of the box they felt tight but as soon as I wore them around a bit they just melted around my foot. I tried a bunch of boots (Kuru, Clarks, Alegria) and chose these because they were stylish but still practical. The Alegria were my second favorite but were heavy compared to the Vionic. I usually wear a 9-9.5 and got the 9.5 to accommodate thicker socks and a small bunion but probably could have got away with the 9. Will report back after our trip.

These shoes have soft leather and are fairly flat so they are very comfortable.

I absolutely love (!) these boots: so comfortable, stylish, versatile, and ready for all kinds of weather. I just got back from a three-week European trip, where we walked for miles every day on all kinds of rough cobblestones and uneven surfaces, and my boots were the champion of the trip. I also packed a pair of sneakers so I could switch out, but ended up wearing those just once, and went right back to my Vionic boots for comfort and warmth. The leather is lovely, the sole is just right, and I didn't change out the insoles as I often do (they were perfect as is). I normally wear a 9w, and the fit on those was just at the edge with thicker socks (and I was afraid they might not stretch enough), so I opted for 9.5w. They're great, but honestly, I wish I had stuck with my regular size: not unhappy at all, but the half size up is just a wee bit big now, even with thicker socks. Recommend sticking with your size if they feel right. We weren't caught in any major storms, but it did rain, and it all rolled off – feet were warm and dry. Winners!

I ordered wide and it was snug. I'm returning despite really liking the supportiveness, style and color. This is the 2nd pair of Vionics that should have been a great fit, but were too narrow.

The boots are very nice- soft leather, good quality- unfortunately they were extremely tight - that was with normal thickness socks. Was so looking forward to these boots!

These booties fit well with the medium weight wool socks I wear in winter. There was no real break in period for me and I love the styling, fit and the fact that they are waterproof. Great ankle book that I can use with my dress up or down outfits.

I love this boot! I have very wide feet and the leather is soft enough that it gives but doesn't stretch out. I can stand in these all day at work and come home without hurting feet!

Very comfortable and warm. The wedge sole, though, makes them look a little more casual than I hoped. I was looking for ankle boots I could dress up AND dress down. If you are only looking for something for days off you will probably be happy with these.

These boots are super cute but I am returning them because they are super difficult to actually get on my feet. The zipper only comes down part way down the side. If the zipper came all the way down, they would probably be easier to get on. Once I finally got them on they were comfortable but morning are busy enough without adding the stress of actually getting a pair of shoes onto your foot.

Im disappointed in how narrow and tight they are for being labeled "wide". I cant even zipper them all the way up without it feeling tight around my ankles. I tried them on with thin socks, and had trouble getting my foot in. I dont understand how some reviews say you're wearing them with moderate to thick socks. And for the price, I can't wait for them to "break in" because i dont think that will help how narrow the toe box area is. Im disappointed that i have to return them.
