Loved the style of these. Lightweight, good arch support, comfortable. However, the straps were WAY too loose on my feet and there is no way to adjust them. Could not go down a size or the length wouldn't work for me.

The best footbed i've tried in a longtime, but as others said the straps are SO loose you can't wear them. For some reason they didn't make the straps adjustable. I even went to a local shoe repair shop to price turning the back strap into something with a buckle b/c they were that comfy. Sadly, not worth an extra $65 to add that. I don't have a very wide foot but do have a high arch.

In Alegria closed shoes I generally take a 38 (which they call an 8). In most other brands (Dansko, Birks, Fluevog) I take a 7. In these I had to go down to a 6, but when I did, they were great. The footbed was "okay" in size 7 and "good" in size 6, but the straps were too loose in the 7. The gold color is useful as an evening sandal while on vacation, and the water-friendliness makes them great for the beach, easy on-off, too!
I'd also recommend:
Comfortiva, Nagasaki, Dansko, Palladium

Despite the reviews I saw online, I had to try these because they're exactly the style I was looking for. They are indeed very cute in person, and the sole was comfortable and true to size. The straps, however, are truly a dealbreaker. I'm sure there's a select few for whom the straps are a perfect fit, but they were much too loose on me and there's no adjustment options. My foot was not secured to the footbed and the back strap was slipping down. Bummer!

These shoes are super cute, but extremely big. I can only go down one size and I feel like that size might even be too big, so returning them.

I ordered the 5-5.5, and it was big. I usually wear a 5.5, and have a narrow foot. These fit my mom who usually wears a 6.5-7. They were very cushiony and seemed comfortable. But I had to return.
