Wanted to love these. Arch support was too high for my foot and hit a little too far forward for me. Loved the wide toe box and look of shoe.

I had surgery several years ago and need a wider toe bed. These shoes offer a wider area up front, in my mid-70s. I found them a bit heavy. I have received a few compliments the look of these shoes.

Fit tts for Alegria. 39 is more like 8 3/4, if such a thing exists. Styling is good. Good support. Lower profile. Not a huge fan of the waterproofing but it’s not a dealbreaker

Comfy (with thin socks) and cute! BUT runs maybe 1/2 size small. My feet measure 10M and that's usually what fits. My toes come maybe 1/4 inch to the end. IF I wore these with no socks or thin socks, they might fit in this size 40 (9.5-10) but heading into autumn soon and then winter, warm socks will become a necessity. And sadly, the size 41 in this style, (10.5 to 11), doesn't fit either. Width and length would be ok with heavy socks but the arch is too far forward for me. Back they go. I'm so sad because they are incredibly cute! Thank you, Zappos, for your return policy.

The width was good, however, the footbed was too short and the arch support hit closer to my heel which was uncomfortable.

My normal size 8 was way too big over all, but the arch support was in the correct place for my foot.

Super cute! Love the color and they seemed comfortable except they were about a 1/2 inch too small. I normally wear a 12 in athletic shoes and the size said 11.5-12 so I was afraid this wouldn’t fit but the cuteness and styling win me over. Unfortunately they are going back.

I have many pairs of Alegria shoes. These seemed to run long for me. Plenty of room in the toe box.

The Alegria Motov8 was not true to size for me. The toe box was spacious enough, but the heel was too big. The overall size of the shoe was too big for my foot. My foot moved around inside the shoe. Had to return. I would have kept the shoes if they had fit properly.

These shoes were darling, and well made. They were comfortable right out of the box and felt supportive for my wide, flat, pronating feet. That comfort did not last long. After standing at the ironing board for about an hour, my feet, in thin toe socks, became hot and I could no longer move my toes. The shoes are very stiff- almost as stiff as steel-toed work shoes. NOT a good choice for comfortable walking shoes.
