Love these shoes. They felt good on my feet before and during issues with plantar fasciitis. However, the velcro strap is SO annoying. I'd be walking around work, and it'd come undone often. It's very annoying. Get rid of the velcro!

REALLY cute black shoes. Sadly, the 9.5-10 is too short (toes against the end of the shoe); 10.5-11 too big. I really liked these shoes and needed them. Thank you Zappos for letting me return.

Great comfort straight out of the box! Love the softness and the cushion of these shoes. They are quite feminine looking despite their width. I need the room in the toe box so these are perfect for me.

Wow! I’m really pleased with the comfort, style and fit of these shoes. I bought the black, just in time because now they’re gone. No breaking in period. I put them on and have worn them for the past 4 days. Everyone’s been asking about these cuties. This is my 3rd pair of Alegria and they’ve all been long lasting and comfortable. My podiatrist gives the thumbs up to me on this brand due to the arch support. I love these.

I usually wear a size 8 - 8.5. In my experience, most shoe brands equate a EU size 39 to a US size 8-8.5. I previously purchased the "Opheliah" style in 39 (Alegria 9, according to the box) and had to return it for a 38/8-8.5, which fit. So, when I ordered the "Onika" style, I again went for the 38/8-8.5, thinking the fit would be the same. It was short - my toes hit the front of the shoe even with thin socks. I will be returning and trying the next size up, but I'm afraid it will be too big.

The show has a strange footbed, that sort of "drops off" at the edges, and made my toes and the edges of my sole feel as though they were lower than the center. I'd try a half size larger, but it is a strange-feeling design.
