The fit overall was true to size, and I loved the sandal! However, the shape of the toe area was a bit too narrow and 'pointed' for my squarish toes! Unfortunately, had to send them back. But, they are beautiful quality.

the leather straps are stiff and hurt my feet

Since I sometimes wear size 8 (instead of 7.5), that’s what I ordered. Unfortunately, they are too large. Not offered in a 7.5, I will hang onto these til the size 7 arrives to see which will fit better. These shoes are attractive and very comfortable. The brown foot bed shows a bit around the edges and I actually like that since it expands the color options of an outfit to include camel. The top strap is elastic and allows easy on and off. Just generally, a modern look for a very comfortable shoe…perfect for a 70 year-old shoe-aholic!

I have a foot on the narrower side and do not have a high instep. This is a common issue where my foot did not take up the room provided - the straps were too generous. iThe ankle steps were also too large for a smaller ankle. Darn it as they were extremely soft on the heel which felt so nice!

Wanted a flat sandal that is attractive and comfortable to wear all day. This is it!! Sole is super comfy!! Like the appearance of the leather combined with the flexible fabric strap. Fit is true to size. I will be wearing these all summer!

It was comfortable. My feet are too wide for this style. The craftsmanship was excellent, too bad it doesn't come in half sizes.

I buy a lot of Born shoes--they fit me (although I wish they'd bring back more rounded toe booties--I just keep repairing my old favorites). I'm always a 9.5. So I purchased 9 and 10. The 10 would have fit perfectly except the straps were very loose. Having a longer foot does not mean you also have a fatter foot! I kept the 9s. They are okay. I feel a bit of rubbing on inner side of foot where strap is, but hoping it will stretch out a bit and be fine. Or I'll put some thin moleskin there.

Fit was very large and leather was scratche significantly on one shoe.

Cute shoe but relies on elastic across instep for adjustability. Nothing to adjust for better fit. Definitely not for a narrow foot.
